The reason the ice sweep numbers in Oakland was all the illegal immigrants were in PA voting.

The more you complain about Trump, the more you sound just like him. Just thought I would point that out. Maybe, just maybe it would help to try and make points that do not involve childish insults...

CNN, NYT, the BBC haven't called the race yet. However, this result represents a double-digit swing away from Trump and in an R+11 district. If every district R+10 or less conservative goes Democratic in November, then the Democrats will flip the House.
 
Too soon to call it. There will be legal challenges, probably recounts. I hope Lamb wins, but it's truly a piss in the dark to claim victory at this point.

When he stops acting like one, I will stop referring to him as one. And referring to him as a "scumbag" is not a childish insult. It is a pretty accurate character assesment of Trump at this point in time.

I beg to differ. He views things like this as of the utmost importance. His ego and self image are atop his primary concerns. Actually trying to be President is merely an afterthought for him.

What went completely flying over your head is the fact Lamb, of whom I really like, is also a gun lover, a Christian, and sees nothing wrong with waving the American flag.
That is why he is a conservative democrat.

Another point you completely missed, is the very real fact the Democrats have to come more to center if they are to win anything.
That is what Lamb's victory proves.

The anti-Christian, gun hating, anti-Americans in the Democratic party like you are on their way out.
The party is moving more to the center.

Don't call people HATERS when your post is full of exactly that.

Ironic? Yes. And remember, some of the #NeverTrumpers (cough cough - me) predicted that exact thing since it became clear that Trump would actually become the nominee - right after he won the NH primary in February of 2016.

The Trump devotees who profess to be Republicans are either too clueless to understand what they did, or they are lying about being Republicans. Nobody who gave a damn about the Republican majorities and Republican Party future voted for him, and if they did, they sure as hell wouldn't be defending him now.

I said Trump would ruin the Republican Party. He is succeeding admirably so far.

I'd be careful turning the tables on the OP that way, PV. I find his posts to be almost spoofs because every one of them is simply filled with anger and rhetoric. But the "The anti-Christian, gun hating, anti-Americans in the Democratic party" is part of what brought down Rick Saccone. He made those really, incredibly, mind-bendingly ignorant comment the other night about the people voting for Lamb instead of him hating America and hating God. It blew up in his face.

I think you're spot on when you say the party is moving to the center. I hope that's the case - the party needs more appealing centrists like Lamb. No more Clintons, Pelosis and others like them. Local issues only, and go to the center.

I think the Republicans by the way have to do the same thing. They've gone way too far to the right, and that's hurting them already and will continue to hurt them.

Yes. This was very predictable. In fact, I'd argue that the whole country, left and right, would be happy right now if not for Trump. Economy is good, wages up, peace on the part of earth we really care about, gas and oil is cheap, spring is coming, etc. The only dark cloud is that moron in the White House.

I had fun watching the updates last night, it was quit the nail-biter. Lamb was way ahead, and the gap closed and closed. At one point, the difference was like 90 votes, and the trend had been consistently Saccone closing the gap...but that was basically all the election day votes at that point. Then the absentee votes from Lamb-county came in, and pushed it back into the 600+ range. The remainder to be counter the next day. Triggers a recount when it's that close, so I agree, I won't celebrate (much) until it's done. The math though, Scaccone would have to rig the election I think, to make up the difference.

And republican won the special election in TN. so where is your post on that one? in fact it wasn't even close in TN the republican candidate won by a landslide.
