10 People Have Offered to Pay the $1 Million Penalty for Her Speaking Out

I agree.
Porn Star Gets Banged....by anyone.
Not exactly newsworthy.

However, it does show Trump had bad judgement in women.....ex-wives or mistresses.

If I was a billionaire and had the occasional mistress, after we were through, she would get a visit from "the boys" to let here know if she says anything, she will be swimming with the fishes. Now, take the envelope and keep quiet.
Much cheaper than some lawyers.
Billionaires can do stuff like that....and do.

but, if I was a billionaire, I sure as hell would not be running for any political office.
Why? You own most of them anyway.

Trump pays them off, you use thuggery and threats of violence.

Big moral difference for you?

You are no lawyer, that's for sure.

There are at least five answers to your post but I will give you one that does impact on his presidency - the "why" he paid for her silence.

There is no answer to that that doesn't raise serious questions about his presidency and how vulnerable he may be because of his nefarious sexual habits. He tried to bribe this women, what else is out there?

Most amusing? How the American right went morally insane over Clinton and now, that your guy appears to have the morals of a drunker biker, you use Clinton as a reference for acceptable behavior.

Illegal use of campaign cash would top that list.

It suggests that Trump was vulnerable to blackmail and may have used campaign money to hush her up.

That he had many trysts with prostitutes also suggests that there may be some truth in the dossier.

Actually it makes the dossier much harder not to believe.

Then dang, if that's true, Calamity. Her spin on her "success" was political goldmine. You need tough skin to survive in the porn business. You don't need tough skin to sit on golden toilets and tweet all day. Stormy could in the future use this to prop up the adult industry, since many people (Trump included) think pornstars are dumb whores. She can show that they aren't, and that they can grab life by the balls.
As an aside, Trump has lost the ability to call her a "dumb whore", or anything else derogatory for that matter.

Why?

Because he slept with the "dumb whore"! :lamo

It's also funny how when we actually point this stuff out and that Trump is/was way worse than Clinton(s). They run away and never challenge again :) The fact that we actually need to lay out these questions to them at this point in the story, shows a true disconnect from reality from these people. It's truly concerning to me that a thinking American would spend hours on a debate forum, write multiple paragraphs about a scandal involving the POTUS, and then not come away with the same questions that I have. How is this possible?

That's the insanity of this, and Trump's perhaps fatal personality flaw.

Look what he put himself, his family, his associates, and his reputation and organization through. Why endanger it all? It makes no sense. No sense at all. He had far too good of a thing going, to expose it to this level of scrutiny & possible ruination.

It also makes no sense for Cohen to take out an equity loan on his house. That likely means (if true) that Trump and he are broke.

Maybe because he has done nothing illegal. But I wondered that same thing about Manafort. No one knew who he was and he was engaged in all sorts of alleged criminal behavior. Then he steps into the limelight of all limelights, the Trump campaign. How could he possibly have thought that his behavior wouldnt be instantly under the microscope?

See post 3.

Oh there is way more to this story. Why did Trump pay her off? Trump supporters obviously don't care that he slept with a pornstar. So what does she have that could have sunk the election days before the election? Why did Cohen take out a home equity loan on his house??? $130K shouldn't be a lot of money to a billionaire's lawyer, or a billionaire for that matter. My feeling is that Trump was dead broke before the election, and only used the campaign to get out of debt from his Russian holders. $130K was from the campaign. Otherwise why wait so long to pay it out???

This is of course not related to whatever information Stormy might have that they are not letting her talk about. Dick Pics and all.

The answers are fairly obvious. She was paid to keep quiet so she wouldnt launch an 'October Surprise.' Cohen paid her, not Trump. And your Russia nonsense is just as it has always been, nonsense.

You didn't answer any of my questions. You just listed what you believe to be true.

Of course I answered them. He had an affair and wanted to keep it from his wife and from damaging his presidential campaign. It cant get any more obvious than that. You want her testimony, not because it will shed some light on where the payment came from--which she would have no way of knowing--but to smear Trump. Which is exactly why he paid he to be quiet.

Oh there is way more to this story. Why did Trump pay her off?...

Probably because he was courting the Evangelical vote, and didn't want to screw that up.

It's more likely than campaign finance violations.

If it is a violation of campaign finance law, it is ILLEGAL. You should know that. That is why it matters, or at least it should. When you folks get tired of kissing Trump's ass and hold him accountable, maybe some of this bull**** will cease. Until then, you are simply part of the problem.

She can speak to the circumstances of what is looking like an illegal or extra-regulatory financial transaction.

Really?

Seems to me that all she can speak about is receiving a payment in exchange for not making a public spectacle out of an illicit relationship.

Trump is a Billionaire. What evidence currently links campaign funds as opposed to his own funds to anything other than campaign expenses?

This sounds like a conspiracy theory looking for proof, as opposed to evidence leading to a crime.

That last sentence applies to the entire Russia 'scandal' The left has gotten to the point where they will believe absolutely anything negative about Trump. Anything.

Why won't he release his taxes? I think he is hiding a lot of things that would fall out of a forensic examination of his taxes. He made such a big deal out of being a billionaire & yet he won't release his taxes to prove that point beyond doubt.

So the woman that denied she is a whore and flat out denied she had an affair with Trump on numerous occasions is now claiming she Is in fact a whore and did in fact have an affair and that she was lying all those times she said she didn’t...and.......who cares?

See post #67.

And your fallacious and unfounded opinion about my professional standing is dismissed. :coffeepap:

It might mean that they show mens rea, and took care of it that way until Trump could arrange a payment of like kind at some later point in time.

Thing is: Even if Trump believed his finances and dealings to be a 100% clean, why do it with such a complicated & comprehensive business org? It's like going through a tax audit, only of everything in your life.

The bolded is conjecture on your part. You do not know what she knows, or doesn't know, at all. Neither do I.
