When does Executive Privilege begin? I have heard on multiple talking head shows that many of the Trump people are refusing to answer any questions beginning in the transition period. Now I thought that Executive Privilege began when the President too the oath of office. Am I wrong in thinking this or does it actually begin right after the results of the election are known and during the transition period? Does anyone out there actually know the answer?

As I understand it, that will probably be eventually answered by the courts. No one has a real answer now, just opinions. To me, my opinion would be until you are the executive, you cannot invoke executive privileged kinda thing(yes, I know it is others invoking it, but you know what I mean).
