It seems to be faishionable to mock Christians, not content to stop there, Colbert now mocks GOD himself. Good thing he did not mock Allah or he might lose his head. A new disgusting low even for the degenerate Hollywood.

Oprah Gets Her Sign from "God" to Run for President - EBONY


There has been immense public support for Oprah Winfrey to run for president in the upcoming 2020 election. However, the media magnate says she would only be up for the possibility if she receives a divine “sign.”
Her message from “God” finally came during a visit to The Late Show. During the segment, Stephen Colbert mentioned that the divine being visits the show often as an animated depiction of “God” appeared excited to be in the presence of Winfrey.


“It’s God, everybody! Give it up for the Lord,” Colbert said.
“I’m a huge fan,” the figure told Oprah. “That’s great to hear. I’m a big fan of yours, too, God. I really am,” she humorously played along.
“I hear thou seekest a sign? Well, is this clear enough?” The animated figure held up a sign that read “RUN!” “God” also help up campaign merchandise for Oprah 2020. Winfrey then explained why she has not committed to running for the most important job in America.

My guess is devout Christians aren’t his target audience. I’m not sure what the joke would be with Muhammad. Oprah isn’t Muslim.

But if you found this offensive as a Christian you must deplore Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

If she actually announces her candidacy, I'll groan. If she wins the 2019 (or whatever) primaries, I'll probably end up in a catatonic facepalm posture. But this doesn't sound like anyone is being serious.

I find it condescending and mocking. As pertains to Muhammad, they don't take kindly to portraying him.

It's in bad taste and part of a larger pattern to mock and belittle Christians.

Even if "they" did not try to kill you, how do you think the moderates would react? Non Muslim Democrats would likely throw a fit. Are you saying Christianity is not being mocked more and more these days? Mock islam and you are called a "bigot".

If you give me examples of so-called mockery I can weigh in.

I'll say this much more: I only started to hear about Christians being "mocked" under Obama, the person accused of lying about being both an American and a Christian........





I've had enough of listening to 70ish percent of the country claim they're being victimized by "the left", which itself is just about half-Christian anyway. Doubly so when the very same Christians who claim to be victimized have absolutely no problem saying muslims-this, muslims-that, based on the actions of a tiny minority
 
Antithesis of funny, but I don't particularly care for the God mocking in the sense that it doesn't upset me.

I wouldn't want Oprah to run because there seems to be something about TV celebrities with no experience in government somehow managing to ruin government more than it already is. She would double ruin it by basically being a liberal Trump.

Colbert is actually a devout Catholic ya know. He often brings up his religion to guests and God has been a long-running bit on his show.

As far as 'mocking' Islam, Google Jeff Dunham. He has been doing his comedy routines for years- TV specials and everything. Can't recall any backlash from Liberals or death threats from Muslims.
