There is a lot of howling consternation coming from the Parts of the US political establishment over the prospect of trade wars with countries that have enriched themselves and their work forces at the expense of average American workers. In the twenty plus years since NAFTA went into effect, US workers have seen their bargaining power crippled by their economic devaluation in a neoliberal global labor market.

As Intellectuals and politicians in the US began the process of selling out the American middle class in 1994, wages stagnated, pensions disappeared, benefits like health insurance were converted to expensive personal burdens carried by workers and their families while millions of illegal workers were moved over the border from Mexico displacing American workers and lowering wages. In effect, the ruling elite in the country dispossessed the working class of everything that made them middle class in order to get a seat at the table of globalization.

Rank and file workers in the United States many of them democrats, have finally found a powerful ally in Donald Trump who is putting the American worker first. Trump doesn’t mince words; he’s hitting the reset button to bring back what has been stolen from working citizens. That includes the standard of living and job security swindled from working Americans and gifted to foreign governments.

Most common breadwinners in America know that there is nothing in the US Constitution that says ordinary citizens should submit to a leadership that delivers control of their economic stability to elitist globalist groups located on different continents. Both Republicans and Democrats in congress have huge amounts of money invested Wall Street which long ago signed on to the betrayal of average Americans to offshored interests. That’s where the real howling originates from.

Trump is a populist that says what he means and means what he says. He’s going to bring back the prosperity that has been plundered from working citizens and stacked in the coffers of American politicians in Wall Street accounts connected to global cohorts on the other side of the world.

This is the real motive behind the ridiculous Russian collusion investigation but the people are wising up as their paychecks grow and they see personal benefits returning. As the American political establishment unleashes a desperate move to save their dirty money with an impeachment, the people will likely re-elect Trump in 2020.

No they won't.

Or Trump will be impeached by Democrats in 2019. It’s possible.

Go ahead and impeach him. You still have to get through the senate. And the machinery of state that the left has no problem with, will be directed at every democrat. After all, the come into a $150,000 year job and after two terms they are multi millionaires. You want dirty, Trump can give you dirty.

The great divergence started in the mid seventies.

That hundred bucks a paycheck really changed my life. :lamo

No they won't.

Why, just the other day Paul Ryan was bragging that one librarians paychecks had increased by $1.50/week. That HUGE, I tells ya!

And what 'personal benefits', exactly, are you referring to? Please be very specific.

Yeah, Trump is as dirty as it gets given where he came from.

An extra $200 a month is the difference between being able to make a car payment or not for a lot of people, or a week's worth of groceries for a family. What a ridiculously elitist attitude. "Doesn't seem like much to ME, so it must not be much."

OMG. Seriously? What was he thinking. Speaker Ryan is usually a smart man.

You can't even buy a Cadbury Cream Egg for $1.50.

Wait until they see what the steel and aluminum tariffs do to the cost of their groceries. That $200 will be back down to zero.

Ryan, like the rest of the high level clowns in that party, isn't particularly smart and has NO sense for optics.

It's an image of himself he loves to promote ("I'm really just a nerdy policy wonk!") but nothing in reality supports it.

Trump puts the American worker first by outsourcing the majority of Trump products and hiring foreign workers at his resorts.

Before you wrote this diatribe concerning "What Democrats want", did you consider asking any Democrats?

Why don't you start a poll, and see which way the wind's blowing?

Tell that to the person who, thanks to Republicans, will eventually get kicked off their insurance due to pre-existing conditions or their health care being raised to an ungodly amount that they can't afford. You guys act like you care about the common person, but you don't. Republicans just piss on the poor and middle class and tell them it's raining and they should like it while the wealthy get the butt load of cash that they just re-invest in themselves to get richer and not help the "common worker".

Oh, it was clear to me.

Ryan knows the tax-cuts are bull****, but is in a 24/7 con-job selling mode. He just didn't focus on the details here, and inadvertently glossed over them, while maintaining his usual selling M.O.

So all that dismantling of the Voting Rights Act, the dismantling of the public schools under DeVos, elimination of overtime, gutting the Consumer Financial Protection Agency, gutting the EPA, killing off programs for the disabled, cutting off heat to the elderly, Meals on Wheels, etc., rewinding women's rights to the 1830's, destroying unions, ramming Jeff Sessions' revived pot war down our throats, robbing waiters and waitresses of their tip money, starting a war with North Korea, privatizing the VA, and attempting to privatize Medicare and Social Security, none of that means ANYTHING to working class families?

Yeah, you must be right, all that stuff is for losers.

You must own some pretty damn value oriented cars!

Oh, the indignance! Sometimes the medicine just tastes bad. But swallow it they will.:lamo

They did

A lot of former democratic, blue collar workers I am certain voted for Trump in past strong union states

You should ask some of them if they're still happy they voted for him.
I have...buyer's remorse.

I didn't say anything about me. But a ~$200 car payment is hardly uncommon, especially among the lower incomes.

In a country where about half say they'd have trouble coming up with a $500 emergency payment, $200 a month goes a long way.

He's the second conservative to run around this morning acting like he knows what liberals want.
Captain America beat him to it though.
I suggested that Chuck and Nancy had exceeded their SELL BY date and the Democratic Party needed to go back to being the liberal party, and Captain America instantly jumped up and started shrieking about "whacktards" and how he's center-right and can work with center-left people but not extremos.
I started looking around for all those center-left people, only to figure out that he thinks Chuck and Nancy are center-left :lamo

No wonder Republicans think Obama is a socialist.

But whattabout?????

I'm not a Republican, so "you guys" is misplaced.
