That almost goes without saying.

Trump must be removed ASAP before he does irreparable harm to this nation and its people. He is the illegitimate Bastard Wanna-be King whose very presence is an offense against rational thought and patriotism.

On the tariffs, my trump supporter boss said, "no. It's really the bonds you have to worry about, the economy is not crashing because of Trump's tariffs. That's just a bunch of nonsense that the talking heads want to talk about because they have to talk about it." Note: He is a conservative, who thinks that the economic collapse will happen any day now. But, no, it's not Trump's fault...

When all this Trump drama is in our rear view mirror, regardless of the outcomes, one thing is for certain.

Ex-President Trump will sit in front of his golden mirror, combing his golden comb-over, with his golden comb, thinking, "I may not have had the highest approval ratings but I had the highest TV ratings than any person, actor, politician, gangster, scientist, religious icon, in the history of mankind."

And, most likely, he will be absolutely correct.

And I think, in Trump's mind, that makes him the winner. Hands down.

A few tariffs won't collapse the economy. A few trade wars will.

I don't know why he thinks the economy will collapse. We will have another recession because recessions are cyclical and we're overdue. It may or may not be Trump's fault depending on the cause. Corporate tax cuts in this economy could fuel a bubble.

Ever notice since Reagan the cycle completely coincides with republican presidents and their bull **** trickle down policies?

I think it has more to do with their affinity for deregulation. The Savings and Loan collapse, the junk bond mess, the mortgage-backed securities apocalypse all are related to Republican efforts at deregulation. They deregulate stuff, things blow up then we have to bring back the regulations.
