Watching Sanders reguritate the comment that Trump had been harder on Russia in his first year than Obama had been in, was simply unbelievable to say the least. I remember countless times that Trump had said that "it might have been Russia or it might have been somebody else". Hardly a definitive statement blaming Russia. I also remember Trump commenting that he believed Putin when Putin said that Russia wasn't involved (then having to "walk back" that comment after receiving criticism). In addition, I remember an interview where Trump said with certaintly that Russia didn't do it.
The above being stated, I find it almost unreal that Sanders would lie about a subject that could be - and was - so easily fact checked. The ease with which this White House lies - almost on a daily basis - is simply unlike anything that we have ever experienced before. Given such a plethora of consitent lies, how are we supposed to believe Trump should we ever have to deal with another national tragedy like 9/11? Why Trump prefers to be known as the "Liar-in-Chief" is beyond me, but he has certainly earned the title and almost seems to be proud of it.
