If this is their idea of "draining the swamp", I want no part of it.

Criticize the girl for what she said. Say it with respect. This moron Dsouza is supposed to be an adult. Saying she looks deranged? No pig in a swamp would say something like that. Certainly no adult would say that. She's a kid, not a woman. And even if she was a woman, what the hell kind of thing is that to say? Adults 1-Kids 0? I feel like I'm in ****ing Romper Room watching "conservatives". They have got to stop. This isn't helping the Republicans - at all!

And the moron conspiracy theorists are going after some kid named Fogg. It's hideous.

The Republicans are driving a wedge between themselves and decent society. This kind of thing has to stop. This IS a swamp now, and it wasn't before. I'm sick of it.

I'm surprised those kids didn't say something worse about Trump than "you disgust me". I guess they were told not to say anything worse by their media handlers...you know, when they were being coached.

Poor poor you, having to deal with backlash for attacking kids who literally just survived a school shooting. But never mind about that, it’s all about you and how persecuted how feel that you can’t insult them, spew conspiracy theories, or attack them in general without backlash. Yeah, how dare these kids express an opinion after seeing their friends die and nearly get murdered! They should shut up, because their opinions annoy the natural conservative ruling class, don't they know they cannot questions their superiors!?

I bet if someone cursed out a veteran who was in a war zone, you would not be so forgiving to the guy who did that and that shooter turned that school into a war zone, how about a little compassion for them or is basic human compassion ''PC'' now? What's the difference between being politically incorrect and just being a psychopath at this point.

Really what insightful criticism did D'Souza engage, what solutions did he present instead? Nothing, he was just a jerk and just because he has the right to say something that makes him seem like a psychopath, does not mean that was the right thing to say.

Clearly these kids are not traumatized and want something done about gun violence because they experienced it first hand right? No, these kids are clearly mini super villains who want to take away the freedom of gun loving patriots, for fun and because Soros gave them a ton of money to do so.

Was Soros working with Dr. Doom on this?

Do you realize how ridiculous these right wing conspiracy theories are? They are the 21st century version of the "Stabbed in the back'' myth. Look that up, if you don't think authoritarians can't use conspiracy theories to gain power.

Of all the Tweets posted, the only one that seems accurate is the one about the kids being media manufactured.



Less bad on the kids, being duped by the media into this role, but major bad on the media for staging this, and using kids for it.
I just can't abide by that.

Reporters and journalists should be impartially reporting the news, not advocating their point of view, nor manufacturing the news.
That's when they become political propagandists.

Turning it into some sort of competition is what is so offensive. One thing that irks me more than anything about a politician, and Obama had that down to a science, is making these snarky comments about "them". Like "them" are lesser people, not his fellow citizens. Ticks me off to no end when someone does that. Not a way to start a productive discussion. Life is not a game.

You'd think that if their position was so righteous and solid that it could easily take a bit of critical thought and discussion, but appearances are often deceiving.
