One step. I hope it works. The danger is, it might make some people think the problem is solved, if the psycho killers stop with the schools and go somewhere else. The problem is, what's making so many people into psycho killers?
But keeping them out of schools would be a good first step.
 
As long as concealed carry by staff is voluntary, and as long as monthly incident reports with names redacted are made publicly available, I am tentatively okay with this. Claude is half an hour away from the nearest major town--Amarillo--and in case of a shooting tragedy, a large-scale response would take far too long.

Plainclothes armed citizens in the midst of a chaotic school shooting. Police arrive. Surely nothing can go wrong with this.

If there is an opening, or we have to pass an English 101 before posting, the job could be yours.
I just hope they check out staff carefully and have them undergo regular evals. What's worse than not stopping a killer from getting into school is having one waiting inside.

Cops FBI and U.S. Marshals have had the availability and regularly arm themselves for well over 100 years...list all the cops that have gone postal a shot up a mall or store etc

But it also brings up a good point, no? We have to come back to identifying the ones who go postal, hone in on the warning signs. Nothing is every 100 % guaranteed. All we can do is try.

Has it ever gone wrong before? I'm pretty sure if a school were to do this, they would work with police and the police would have an idea on what they're dealing with.

If one goes postal, then the rest of the armed staff would take care of it. ItIt's like asking what if a cop goes postal in a police station.

I'm not sure what your post has to do with the OP........are you thinking of moving to Texas or what?
I also live in Cali, and although you will be missed, your absence will free up more space for me at Yosemite.

Yes I'm considering a move to Texas or some other state if the coastal cities keep stealing all our electoral votes. California is upwards of 40% conservative, but illegals in the coastal cities keep skewing elections. Just talking about him makes me want to slam my head into a wall, shake my head.
