Prepare for the firestorm. Most republicans here just loved Reagan. I lived in California when he was Governor there. I remember him saying, "if you've seen one Redwood, you've seen them all." Then later on, when he became President, he invented "Trickle Down Economics," which did not work.

IMO, he was a good actor, but not the best of Presidents.

He was.

War on drugs began under Nixon, but otherwise a fair assessment. I will say that Reagan made it worse, although not to the same degree that Clinton did.

Reducing taxes on businesses and the wealthy in society stimulates business investment, increases employment and makes a society richer. That’s not a theory or an opinion – it’s a proven fact. The Left insist it doesn’t work because it is the essence of capitalism and they hate capitalism. What did you expect the commies to do? Embrace their enemy?
