LeBron and NBA vs The Right Wng

This is what happens when you attempt to leave high school a year early to join the NBA.

Well, in LeBron’s case I would say that was a pretty brilliant move.

You know, you've just got to wonder just how small of a corner they can paint themselves into, until they are incapable of winning a national election.

They've got to be getting pretty damn close.
I honestly thought they were already there. Of course, it didn't hurt that their opponent was easily smeared and had more baggage than most people believed Trump carried.

I guarantee LeBron has more liquidity than Donald Trump.

I wouldn’t hazard a guess on that but what I do know for a fact is LeBron from nothing and built his fortune from scratch all on his own. Trump started with a fortune and company he inherited from his father.

They are already there. The only way the GOP can even win elections anymore is when Democrat turn out is low. When Democrat turn out is high, they simply cannot win. See Obama's elections in 2008 and 2012 for examples of that.

I'm actually starting to wonder if the GOP even wanted the power they currently have. Sure, they got their tax cuts, but I honestly believe they preferred being the minority party where they could simply be the party of "no" instead of actually governing. What the last year has shown us is the GOP knows absolutely nothing about governing.

Yep, which is exactly why the GOP is busy trying to purge voter rolls.

Goes to show how bad their ideology and policies are. They can't win based on them, which is why they resort to race baiting and trying to stop people from voting.

Let's see here. An NBA superstar chastised by a racist woman - of very little talent - who simply spoon feeds "mindless minions" whatever she and her producers think that her viewing audience is stupid enough to believe on any given day.

"I will take Lebron for a thousand Alex".

Yeah, it was a race to the bottom.

They don't know how to properly harness & direct their power, and they have a love-hate relationship with Trump, but I believe they very much desire to keep their current power if possible!

24 seats in the House. It all pivots upon that. And I think it may be close enough to keep them worried.

Sure, call them on it. Lebron is an idiot, along with everyone else that doesnt. Lebron is doing nothing but race baiting to a bunch of idiots and cant express his point without fool languages. Plus he is the biggest crybaby in basketball, which is the real reason i dont like him

I remember what has been on the radio for most of my life and I look around today at the sorts of things that gets radio people in trouble now to include fired now and I say to myself "Yep, the puritans are defiantly winning!"

They got a lot of work to do to get us cleaned and pressed and suitable for UTOPIA.

From the OP:

"LeBron is one of greatest examples of our country we’ve ever seen. He went from nothing to something. He had to be excellent at everything. To insinuate he’s not intelligent is appalling," she tweeted.

He had to be good at exactly one thing, putting a ball through a hoop....this tripe is appalling.

Well, if they want to keep their power, they better change. If not, they are handing the power back to the Democrats on a silver platter. The modern day GOP is so hilariously incompetent it's down right comical.

Well, no one voted for Ingraham either. I think it's foolish to tell anyone in America to shut up about politics. And how stupid would you be to go to college and risk injury rather than to start the career you were destined for and become rich while doing it?

With that said, I do think there is a certain political correctness in the NBA and I think LeBron is part of it. He has every right to voice his opinion but I can't say I respect what he has to say.

Laura Ingraham is 100% right.

LeBron James is a basketball player. I don't want him to speak about politics. He is unqualified to speak about the subject.

He is more qualified than most of the idiots we have in DC. Hell, we have a reality TV star as President. Actors and Late Night TV hosts that live in a fantasy world preaching nonsense everyday. Why take issue with LeBron?

He's also a business owner, philanthropist, and social activist. He's perfectly "qualified" to speak on the subject.

Take one guess.

Listen, you are making this a race issue. I don't want to hear LeBron James' opinion, Gregg Popovich, or other athletes.

Unless they want to become activists like a certain unemployed QB, they should just play sports.

You not wanting to hear his opinion doesn't make him "unqualified" to have one. As I said, Lebron isn't just a genius on the court, he owns multiple businesses, has a very successful foundation that's building schools in Akron and sending kids to college, and has been building a reputation as one of the most socially active athletes of his generation. Suggesting the only thing he knows is how to dribble is a very deliberate deprecation that absolutely has a racial tinge.

Virtually everyone has an opinion on politics and yet we rarely hear folks demanding people "shut up" because they're "unqualified" to have such opinions.

"Must they run their mouths like that?” isn't even coded, they've traded the dogwhistles for bullhorns these days.

The biggest cry babies are Right Wingers.

Oh, bull****. You like jock-opinions just fine when it comes from the Curt Schilling types.
