Where is the public outcry of the "Moral Majority" and "Family Values" Republicans?

Re: Where is the public outcry of the "Moral Majority" and "Family Values" Republicans?

While we are on the topic of hypocrisy, let's talk about the hypocrisy of feminists. Explain to me why I am supposed to be outraged over the accusation that porter hits women? I thought women wanted to be treated as equals. Am I supposed to believe she is defenseless and incapable of defending herself. Am I supposed to assume that she could not of possibly done anything that deserves being punched for. Are women helpless creatures that can't defend themselves or they every bit men's equals who can defend themselves. If these allegations were about Porter fighting with other men would you all have the same outrage.

Hypocrisy, indeed.

That has to be the dumbest post I have read in a long time. Here we have a man that is well over 6 foot and huge and his wifes are supposed to fight him as equals. It would be the same as if he was fighting a very small man. You can't really believe what you wrote, can you? Are yoou that far into the stupid thinking of those who hate women for trying to be their equal.

The side that hijacked its own primaries, had a leaker murdered, has the balls to talk about "Morals".

We care about winning, advancing our interests, and all of your attempts of trying to use our own values against us no longer works.

That's because you have no real values. For you it is all about the money and power. And winning is ll you care about.

Re: Where is the public outcry of the "Moral Majority" and "Family Values" Republicans?

What groups? And how do you know they are supporting Trump now?

What did that one Christian leader say, we are giving Trump a mulligan on his affair with the porn star. Yes, we know the evangelicals are supporting Trump.

If someone is hitting another person in anything other than self defense, and especially if it's someone in a situation where they should have every expectation that violence should be coming their way (as is the case in typical domestic abuse situations), and that person is some sort of public figure or officer....yeah, in general people should be outraged to some varying degree. It has nothing to do with it being a woman. If he was beating his 20 year old son routinely, or bashed up the face of the local McDonalds clerk, or another other such instance it'd be worthy of a similar reaction.

Re: Where is the public outcry of the "Moral Majority" and "Family Values" Republicans?

We didn't vote for a paster. We voted for a president. It's irrelevant if he talked **** about grabbing ******s.

What's relevant is that he's doing, or trying to do most of what he said he was going to do.

You all are pissed off. We get it. We don't care. It's part of the fun.

I hope you are wealthy, otherwise you were stupid to vote for this man. that is what he and his policies are all about, making the wealthy wealthier and the rest of us will pay for it. So go ahead and laugh because we are laughing at you who voted for Trump.

Re: Where is the public outcry of the "Moral Majority" and "Family Values" Republicans?

Once we become more diverse and Sharia law is respected as co-equal, then these issues with women not being respected for their modesty will be resolved.

I am mystified when people talk about Sharia law, or even Christian Law. Neither have anything to do with our present or future law. this country's laws are based on ou Constitution, at least they are until the cons gt enough politically motivated judges on the SCOTUS.

Re: Where is the public outcry of the "Moral Majority" and "Family Values" Republicans?

This is some morally egregious cognitive dissonance.

Spousal abuse is spousal abuse. It wouldn't matter if Porter were gay and beat his husband. He is a violent piece of trash and invalidates any claims to moral superiority. That the administration is shielding him should provoke a sense of betrayal in former Trump supporters.

If you cannot muster the moral fortitude to reject morally corrupt representatives of your viewpoint, your viewpoint cannot be seen as legitimate.

By your deflection and obfuscation you demonstrate a lack of moral courage. You demonstrate a lack of value for women. We could hold your post up as a classic example of the misogyny so present in American culture.

You are the problem, not those of us who are furious at this moral affront. Correct yourself, or get out of the way. People with slave souls and weak moral reasoning are useless tools of power.

How do you know he is a violent piece of trash? Do you even know his side of the story? Your rushing to conviction when you don't know anything but what the women have claimed. He might be every bit and more as you described him but he has not stood trial for it nor has he released his side of the story. If he is guility of domestic abuse, put him in jail.

In light of the allegations that have come out, sure I believe he should step down at least until we can determine if the accusations are true or not. However it isn't the hyperbolic national security issue that many are making it to be. What it reveals is a flaw in the vetting process. The house oversite committee is opening up an investigation into that. Hopefully the investigation leads to some positive reforms.

One of the questions I have is who gets the final say in these type of circumstances. Does the FBI have the authority to deny Trump an appointment based on a failed background check or does the potus have the authority to override the FBIs objections?

No I will not get out of your way so that you can ride roughshod over anyone that you please. Prove the accusation and I will join you but until then he gets the same presumption of innonence as everyone else gets.

No, I work for a living. I'm not stupid enough to vote for Democrats.

Re: Where is the public outcry of the "Moral Majority" and "Family Values" Republicans?

First, these groups - that were so highly critical of Obama's association with Reverened Jeremiah Wright - simply turned a "blind eye" to the vagina grabbing "boasting" of Trump on the Access Hollywood tape. Next, they turned another "blind eye" to the mounting accounts of Roy Moore's questionable past of being a possible child predator. Now, these groups once again remain silent in the face of mounting reports of spousal abuse of Trump's White House Secretary. Are these folks willing to turn a "blind eye" to anything involving Trump just so he may get another opportunity to appoint another Conservative Supreme Court Justice? Have these groups become so immersed in the political landscape that they now put their party affiliation before their "self professed" Christian values? Sure looks that way to me....:(

This may be the best time in recent memory to NOT be a Conservative Republican. Their cponstant support of Trump's immoral behavior only serves to lessen their own standing and credability.

When the GOP nominated Trump they have surrendered the moral high ground. Why do you think the Adorables have shut up about Bill Clinton's affairs. There guy is just as guilty paying hush money to a porn actress. Trump is a stain on the GOP which will take years wash away. The Evangelical base my ass, bunch of hypocrites. It only confirms what most of us already knew. They sold there soul for tax cuts. I won't be bought off!!

I've seen the picture. That's all I need.

I am not a juror. This is not a courtroom.

Your President is a serial abuser and sexual assaulter, who shields the same. And you defend him because you lack moral courage.

You have nothing of value to offer at this point.

The FBI has the right to deny appointees security clearance.

Trump violated that by allowing someone access who was denied access. This is a simple example of checks and balances.

For someone so concerned with due process, you certainly want Trump to be a dictator. Such obvious hypocrisy makes your credibility suspect.

Maybe it's time for these Evangelicals to become Matthew 25 Christians.

Can we stop with the broad brush?

What if it turns out she struck him first, would that matter to you?

Where are his bruises? Where are the photos of him bloodied from her hands?

There aren't any. And you know these opportunist traitors would make use of such photo evidence if they had it.

The evidence points to him being an abusive ass. There is nothing provided to counter that. Should something be provided, my opinion may change.

Unlike yourself, I do not armor myself in denial. I prefer the truth.

Why is your first assumption to blame the victim?

Absolutely. It would have a big impact on my level of "outrage" in any case if one individual struck the other first. The level of the legitimate and reasonably expected threat that the other person poses also goes into it.

If the fbi has that right why didn't they excercise it?

Im not blaming anyone. Your making assumptions that I'm unwilling to make. I have no idea what lead to her black eye, do you?

The point I'm making is people are assuming things they shouldn't be. With all that we do know I lean toward believing the accusations are mostly true but I have no proof. I don't condemn people without proof.

My apologies, the FBI does not have the right to deny security clearance, they just inform the White House when they think someone doesn't deserve them. As they did with Porter, months ago.

Trump just chose to ignore them and appoint a wife-beater anyway.

They have so much in common, you see.

Well there is an investigation by tray gowdy into it. If trumps administration knew about his history and overrode the fbis recommendation. They will be held accountable.

If you truly believe the GOP will hold Trump accountable for anything, you have not been paying attention to politics for the last two decades.

And you certainly weren't paying attention during the Reagan years, during the Iran-Contra crimes.

errr derrrr. Wow, so unemployment in this country is at 50% and liberals don't have jobs. YOu know how stupid these troll posts are? At least put some effort into your trolling. Putin will be unhappy

Are you so naive that your not aware that women are just as abusive as men?

Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk

Haha, right on que.

You're totally ignorant of feminism. For you, it's an idiotic boogeyman used to rationalize violence against women. That's pathetic and displays your underlying agenda - rationalizing violence against women. Even deeper, you have a stupid belief that words justify violence against a mate. Your moronic reasoning goes something like this:

1. Violence against ones mate is justified by the others' words.
2. Women must be treated like men.
3. Hit the woman.

I'm not sure if you should be more ashamed by that pathetic "reasoning" or your fondness of violence against women.

Then, to top it off, you present the crybaby scumbag narrative "women are just as bad regarding domestic violence". That's horrifically wrong and displays your snowflake victim-card fantasy world.
