Trump's personal lawyer admits he paid a former porn star $130,000

It has been a few years since I left DC and I am simply amazed at how things have changed. In my time, something like the Access Hollywood tape would have been a "death sentence" for any politician. Today, it is just "another day" in the White House......:(

I was thinking the exact thing.

However, I think what this really illustrates perfectly is just how crooked Trump's books really are. If he's so cheap as to use his campaign to pay some anal queen $130K, god knows what else his financial disclosures will reveal.

Trump grew-up so crooked and empowered by his family wealth, I doubt he knows how crooked he is. And that's the real danger: Trump thinks what he's doing is normal and right. Because in his privileged world, it is normal.
 
I still remember him "stiffing" the Boy Scouts for a few hundred bucks many years ago.

Here is another interesting thing about Trump: He boasts about how great he is. How much he knows. How smart he is. How wealthy he is. Yet, he refuses to release his tax returns. Now, common logic would dictate that such a "boaster" would love to flaunt his tax returns and show off his wealth at every opportunity. Yet, he won't release those returns.

My guess is that he is either debt riddled, or has Russian money ties that he does not want disclosed or revealed.

Trump has turned the White House into a sleazy cesspool. The only hope, is 24 seats in the House come November. That gets control of the committees, including the Intel Committee, and allows subpoena power. That's the only way of cracking this White House, because impeachment through Senate conviction is not a political reality.

Trump will have to be stopped by a Democrat Congress (until 2020).

Well, it looks like the news story was not exactly correct.

Cohen stated that the funds didn’t come from the Trump campaign or the Trump companies.

That means it still could have come from somewhere else..notably from Trump directly. Or maybe it was from Trump directly as they did a shell game and found some way for the campaign to reimburse Trump, Inc. and eventually the big orange guy himself.

Of course, with a dirt ball like Trump, it probably came from his charity.
 
So what is everyone supposed to do with this information?

Is he an adulterer (this specific payoff, not other accusations)?

Assuming this is all true, what specifically was wrong? His character has no credibility to lose.

What was the purpose for the payoff to begin with?

Nobody cares about Trump's sex life. We care that he may have broken campaign finance laws. Politicians are in jail for similar crimes.

youre saying the 130k came from campaign money? Or supposedly the lawyer did it all on his own without trumps knowledge, was the story I briefly heard. 130k seems like small enough money for him to just pay.
