Why is there no white history month? Is it racist to have a black history month but not a white history month?
Let me guess... you're from the South?
That's my guess because even many of the mulattoes and Black-Americans online I have gotten into with over this "whiteness" theme have been from the South. And of course... you all are so head strong you refuse to believe white persons up North did not lose their original native ethnic identities in full (though that has changed which each passing younger generation) and just become one large blob of
"white". And I'm hear to tell you it is not true.
How many Polish men does it take to change a light bulb by the way?
I'm half white and half black. Let me give some perspective on this. My surname I got from my black father is either Welsh or Scots-Irish. Now imagine that? Wonder how the f___ that happened. Without revealing my surname let me just say I double checked it (was first told by my brother who had to find out for a college class) by
googling the f__ surname up. You're white, you're supposed to be pretty smart, if you are like clueless if your familial roots are German or Jewish or Italian or English then why not just google your surname up. It will give you one route to follow at least.
So, my white side is not Scots-Irish but German. Now let me say that again: my white side is German. Guess what my black side is? [Drum roll]
Black. Wait? What? Yeah: black. Now how the f__ can it be "black"? Well... my friend, that's a fine question, maybe you need study black history [in America] this Black History Month.
The black Africans that come over here to the USA to live and raise families are just like my German-American family. They are not
just white. They have a f__ ethnicity from wherever the hell they came from in Africa.
Now, Black-Americans (what many prefer to call "African-Americans" today) are their own ethnic group. Thanks to Jim Crow racial segregation native blacks developed into a separate ethnic group from the broader white population.
Author J.D. Vance is white and notice in the video he
explicitly mentions Scots-Irish in the USA. Picking up on a patter here yet?
History? I can only speak for Milwaukee. It's embedded in the architecture of the city.

This arrangement enabled a family of limited means to end up with both a home and a modestly priced rental apartment unit. Most of the Polish flats that survive to this day are found in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.[1] Since Polish American immigrants prized land ownership in their own culture, this solution which was prominent in the areas they settled in came to be associated with them.[2]
Polish flats were "specifically designed both to accommodate and to accelerate the economic improvement of the family... Polish flats were human values reflected in architecture and testified to the hard work, practicality, and optimism of their inhabitants," wrote former Milwaukee mayor John Norquist in his book, The Wealth of Cities.

Its architecture reinterprets the many historic German buildings found in downtown Milwaukee.
I'm against Black History Month, but not for your reasons. I don't like propaganda as "history" nor do I appreciate society promoting intellectual laziness that spoon feeds people all "history."
History is actually one of those subjects you need to study for a lifetime. And you will never ever be close to knowing everything.
