Should National Freedom Day be on November 8?

November 8, 2016 was a revolutionary date - when the American people said loudly and clearly that they had enough of the establishment political insanity in this republic and voted to make America great again.

It was a strong rebuttal of the divisiveness that Obama and company gave us during the previous eight years, and a rejection of the fascism that Hitlery would have brought if we had crowned her queen.

For the first time in memory we have a president who works for the American people, not the special interests and entrenched power structure. We have a uniter in the Oval Office while the Great Divider (Obama) actively seeks to undermine the will of the people with his Deep State operation.

President Trump's grand election is cause for celebration.

National Freedom Day (November 8) will come a day before another anniversary commemorating a day when liberty once again became possible - November 9, 1989 is when communists lost control over East Germany and the stage was set for that glorious country to reunify.

Of course, November 10 is the Marine Corps birthday and November 11 is Veteran's Day.

Do you support National Freedom Day on November 8?
 
I admire your enthusiasm, but there is a National Freedom Day. It's Feb. 1 and it celebrates ending slavery.

Election Day should be a PAID national holiday, with the polls, ALL POLLS, open and every citizen incentivized to vote.

I think adding the Donald to Mt Rushmore above the other four would make a bigger statement

What is this supposed to mean. There are plenty of polling places. If you want there to be more, volunteer to staff one. If you already do, recruit your friends and family. If there is a demand and enough manpower, there will be more opened.

No, because it isn't about him - it is the message sent by the American people to the Establishment that we weren't passively abiding by the status quo anymore.
