1. I hope that happens.
2. The GOP didn't have a problem with "trying to fool [someone] into lying" with Bill Clinton. This doesn't mean that two wrongs make a right. But damned if the GOP doesn't deserve a second wrong on that count.
Not all Republicans supported that. I thought what happened to Bill Clinton was shameful and that it reflected badly on the GOP.
Still, there are perfectly good reasons for an innocent person not to talk, especially Trump, who can't stop himself lying long enough to complete one honest paragraph.
That doesn't mean I think he's innocent. I just don't like the exercise of constitutional rights being used to hit even a deserving target.
I think you're right -- I think Trump says what he wishes were fact instead of what is fact in many cases. I don't think that makes him a bad person, necessarily, but I think it makes him a sitting duck in an interview with Mueller.
