Democrats took a shotgun method in their responses to President Trump’s State of the Union address, with a basketball team worth of lawmakers attempting to give voice to the opposition.

Massachusetts Congressman Joe Kennedy and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders were among four politicians who put out their own messages in the aftermath of Trump’s speech, with another response slated for Wednesday.

Talk about a party in disarray. A young kid giving the national response, then you have grandpa past his bedtime, and then grandma.... everytime Maxine Waters speaks, I have absolutely no zero clue what's she speaking about.

A party cannot have one unified response showing this is a fractured party without leadership.

The official response from Joe Kennedy and the Spanish response from Guzman (assuming she's saying the same thing as Kennedy) were the only things that were needed. If Guzman isn't giving the same response as Kennedy then she's superfluous too.

Maxine Waters and Bernie Sanders represent outdated/expired ideas.

Waters has praised Fidel Castro more time than she did of Trump or Bush.

Funny you talk about Grandpa and Grandma when millions of Republicans in 2016 voted for some 70 year old fat orange Grandpa, who is now the current president.

Yawn. They had one, official response and allowed other party members to voice their own opinions.
