If you look at the levels of self-confidence and anger the Left exuded for about ten months after Trump was elected, it was astronomical and unending. Conservatives were amazed. From our POV it looked like mass hysteria.
Over the last couple of months the Left’s wall of angst and fake outrage has dissipated. Sure they still put up their lame arguments, scoff and sneer, but there is a definite sea change. At first I wasn’t sure, but now it’s clear – they are beginning to figure out the following:
1) Trump is actually very good at this stuff
2) Their own leaders are a bunch of lying little fools
3) They’re probably going to lose to Trump again in the next election
4) The Fake News really is Fake News.
So they have become disillusioned. They are no longer sure of themselves. They are wavering.
This is great news. Now we just have to wait for Trump to make the killing blow; winning the next one. After that the Left will fade away like all bad dreams, and America will be well and truly on its way to being great again.
