We all know that the bulk of those quarter million deaths were the result of the ravages of war: breakdown in order, sanitation, medical services, etc.

From the end of the initial invasion up to this day the #1 killed of Iraqis is other Iraqis.....

The breakdown of sanitation, medical services, etc. began long before the invasion. Try educating yourself as to the effects of the "peaceful" embargo. What monies came in during that time went to constructing more "palaces" for Saddam Hussein.

You aren't arguing that fewer people died post invasion than before it. Are you?

Well, so much for my hope that you would be honest and hold the US accountable for a very bad call.

Maybe this lesson will help you understand, at least a little, why Nazis do what you just did with Iraq regarding the Holocaust, but I doubt it.

The closest thing to a Nazi and a Nazi regime would be Saddam and his Baathist Party.

Sorry. Don't see whacking the new Nazis as a bad thing.

It's not. I do it too. But, unlike you, I'm honest about it when my own country ****s up royally, which we did in Iraq.

What's not? Saddam and his Baathist Party being the closest thing to a Nazi and a Nazi regime? Dictatorship. Totalitarian. Strong military/party connection. Executed political rivals. Selected various "out" groups for destruction. Genocidal acts. Invading his neighbors....

We went in to take out WMDs that the idiot Saddam Hussein worked so hard to pretend he still had. After allowing hundreds of thousands to suffer sanctions he pigheadedly endured rather than adhere to surrender terms.

Please share... How do we KNOW there were no WMDs when the inspections were interfered with time and again?

OK, the thread is thoroughly derailed now. Let's see if I can get it back:

It was Rumsfeld, Cheney, and Wolfowitz, with the complicity of the CIC George Bush, who started the disastrous war in Iraq. It was Iraqis killing Iraqis, Americans killing Iraqis, and Iraqis killing Americans. At times, it was Americans killing Americans via "friendly fire." It was people dying because of poor sanitation and a breakdown in civil order. It was war, and war is hell.

Now, can we get back to the thread?

Lesson: Never argue with an idiot. These Trump folks are so "eat up" that no amount of logic or evidence will ever get them to admit anything closely resembling the truth. I don't know if it is Trump's money or women that seems to captivate them, but they sure as hell have the worst case of "hero worship" that I have ever seen.
