I don't associate myself with either the left or the right (I consider myself an authoritarian centrist), but with one thing I have to agree with the Trumpists.

President Donald is an absolute genious.

Seriously, he actually managed to trick the whole country that he is anti-establishment. I have to give points to him for that, because that is impressive.

He actually was able to trick BOTH the left and the right that he is fighting against Wall Street, and that he actually cares about the people, fighting against big bankers in New York.

Wow, that is very impressive.

hehe...cool, but I think you give him too much credit. Like everything else in his administration, the credit needs to go to his handlers. Trump is just a conveniently distracting mouth piece that spends half his time saying what his base wants him to say, and the other saying what his handlers tell him to say. Basically, he's as smart as a tape recorder with a playback button. From 1985.
 
OK, if he's a genius than all the stupid and hateful **** and lies he says every single day is done on purpose, and that would make him a complete asshole. Just like all those Fox news correspondence that sell their soul to spread bull****. I don't think they believe the nonsense they spew, they just are banking on other peoples idiocy

Exactly who are Trumps "handlers" Did they chose him? Did they fund him? Did they elect him? Do they tell him what to say? Do they tell him what to do? How long have they been handling him? Did they build his fortunes too?

If so Trump was pretty damned smart to hire all of his "handlers"

I would love to them "handle" me, so please give me their names.

If you believe the Wolff book, the genius was in the idea that populism is still a winning political strategy. While most modern politicians have dismissed it as ancient and unworkable, Trump and his people embraced it in all its glory. [Bannon was the guy that ultimately solidified it for Trump. Unfortunately, while he brims with loyalty for the President, he talks too much when he drinks.]
The problem for the country is that while it apparently works beautifully during a campaign, it doesn't govern very well.
But the President has no intention of governing. He's on to the next campaign--2020. And believe me, he could care less about 2018.
So right now, his 37% base is all he needs. Heck, in 2016, he started with far less than that.
You think that he can't gather another 13% +1 by Nov 2020? Think again!

But his biggest backers, the Mercer, family are hedge fund billionaires. They threw him a big fundraiser.

Maybe he is a genius if he's fooled people into thinking he's a crusader against the global elite while being a member of the global elite.
