Conservatives: Where is the moral outrage over Trump's extramarital affair with a porn star?

The Christian Right is fake Christianity.

It's pro-rich and anti-poor, anti-health care for the poor, anti-peace and pro-guns. Nothing about the Christian Right reflects Christian morality. Their self-righteous attacks on gays is also not Christianity. Jesus spoke out strongly against self-righteousness. He clearly says, do not judge yet these people are extremely judgmental.

Most of Christian protestantism in America has been hijacked by false prosperity gospel proponents and Christian Pharisees.

But there is a remnant.

THeir christianity is all about forgiveness... but only for those with an R behind their name.

I believe most conservatives here disliked Hillary because she is a corrupt, lying, hypocritical and nasty person. Similar to what the liberals call Trump. Bringing up Bill's past is usually to show the hypocrisy of the left when they bring up the less than stellar past of someone on the right.

More like what 65% of Americans call Trump. Despite the "righties" dislike of Hillary, she still received more votes than the racist pervert we now have in the WH.

Why would they start caring now? They don't care about all the other things Trump has done that show their hypocrisy, they don't care. They have been flaming hypocrites for decades

These "Trump cult-worshippers" would sit by an let Trump molest their wives and daughters if Trump wanted to grab their ******s.

He paid her off in 2016, right before the election season, to keep her quiet over an arrangement they had in 2006 or so.

I don't know such evidence had surfaced, past high school gossip-girl talk.

I'm sure Mueller is all over it.

Mueller's charter is to look for Russian collusion. I don't think this would fall into that category, any more so than Bill's cigar play in the oval office, which weren't the grounds for his impeachment.

Mueller's charter is to look for Russian collusion.

No, i think it’s a little broader than that. It’s to look for any evidence of wrongdoing: collusion, obstruction of justice, money laundering, perjury, etc...

So when do we get to put Trump under oath?

You seem to suffer from "Trumpnesia". Also known as "selective memory". The Clinton investigation started with Whitewater and morphed into a completely unrelated area with his Lewinsky trist. Ken Starr, with Republican support, essentially had carte blanche to investigate anything and everything related to Clinton.

If the Mueller investigation snares Trump's porn fetish. Oh well.......:) My highest hope is that Mueller gets Trump's tax returns.:)

This witch hunt is to find anything. It is like an open ended search warrant . We will fill out what we are searching for if we find something. Most likely they will trick Trump into making a mistake while trying to work around this travesty of our judicial system.

But it was okay, when Starr did the same with Clinton..:)

It would take sandblasting and industrial strength cleaners to rid the "hypocrite stench" off of Conservatives these days.

I recall Ken Starr's investigation, and while it did reveal many questionable things, at the end, he only came up with lying under oath. I'm not convinced that this was because he found nothing suspicious or illegal.

So when do we get to put Trump under oath?

No idea.
Maybe he will.
Maybe he won't.
Maybe, there's no cause for doing so.
I have no idea.

What I do know is that Trump / /White House lawyers and Mueller's team are talking it over as to how to go about it. This was reported in the news.

#187 is my take on that.

Everyone knew who Trump was before being elected. All this media nonsense is just hype and an attempt to stop Trump from accomplishing anything good for this country.

I did not care about Clinton being a pig. Now Hillary supporting this pig then acting like she cares about women is sick. I liked Clinton and the democrats because they fought NAFTA when Bush tried to push it through. Then they sold out our unions and approved it when Clinton was elected. I clearly made a bad choice when I voted for Slick Willy thinking he was for the people.

It's not sick. It's her husband. A wife's bias toward her husband is so well understood that she can't be compelled to testify against her spouse.

And Bill was good looking smooth guy. All his affairs were consensual. Only one woman claims otherwise and there are serious issues with her story.

Basically, her husband was a cheater and she stuck by him. That's pretty normal.

We'd ask Melania what she thinks about Trump's alleged dalliance with Stormy Daniels, but I bet even mentioning such a thing is over the line as far as the wingnuts go. It's only OK if they do it.

Conservative and hypocrite are basically synonyms at this point.

Well, in the end, he was a prosecutor, and prosecutor can only go after what he can prove.

That said, didn't he write a book afterward, and didn't he have basically nothing else? Whitewater was a ghost story. And thus began the wingnut obsession with the Clintons that continues to this day.

I have never voted for any politician based on their perceived "morality".
MORAL POLITICIAN is an oxymoron.
Same as CONGRESSIONAL ETHICS.
With emphasis on the moron. The oxy part will cost you $30 a pill.

Each and every one of them has a dirty past as do a few of us.
I vote people in for their political views and stances on the issues.
Knowing most of them are pretty despicable characters, and hardly any would pass and kind of morals examination.
That is not why i voted for them.
I voted for them to get in there and pass laws i agree with.

I have never voted for any politician based on their perceived "morality".

What about the whole "Crooked Hillary" thing? Trump campaigned on NOT being a politician. Now he's a crooked lying politician and that's just fine? LOL.

Go back and REread my post.
NONE OF THEM can be considered moral in my book.
NONE = all inclusive.

I do not vote based on perceived "morals".
What part of that did not not understand.
I thought I was very clear.

...and Trump ran on NOT being a politician, which was a lie. We all know you must delve into politics to get anything done in the world at the billionaire level.
I LOL'ed when i heard him say he was not a politician.
He was, however, not a Washington insider.

I don't care how crooked or lying they are, because they ALL ARE crooked and lying.
I care about what laws they are going to pass and support and that is why i vote my choice.

Is this clear enough for you now?

Morality has little to do with politics.
