Conservatives: Where is the moral outrage over Trump's extramarital affair with a porn star?

or priorities? We have come a long way since we complained about potus being catholic. Since everyone knew that Trump is no saint, having been divorces ? times, I guess the right was more interesting in his campaign promises than his private life.
All else is nothing more than an attempt to beat up on Christians and it is getting old. Christians aren't saints, Christ didn't die for saints but for sinners. Some recognize the fact, some don't.
Hillary, she surely wasn't setting an example of moral fortitude. Elections are over, priorities matter.
With Kim and other enemies at our doors, of course it is more important to discuss waist size and love life.
Moving on.

The Christian Right have the wrong priorities. I'm not saying they should not have voted for Trump because of his sex life. I'm saying they should not have voted for Trump because of his policies.

Let's not forget that Trump mocked a disabled man in front of a crowd and then lied about it. Why would any Christian vote for such a man? It's the same people who supported Roy Moore.

Many Mormons didn't vote for Trump because of his racist remarks. That's why Romney and many Mormons are against him. But southern Christians have a long history of not caring about racism. Hence my claim that they are fake. These are the same people who brought us Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker.

Conservatives, especially the "moral" evangelical Christian ones, tell us that one of the biggest reasons they didn't like Hillary was that her husband had had an extramarital affair with a whitehouse intern while president. Evangelical leaders like Jerry Falwell were literally losing their mind, saying that they can't imagine living in a country where the president would have an extramarital affair. Bill Clinton was impeached over this.

Well, now we have a woman, a porn star at that, telling us about an extramarital affair with Donald Trump, soon after he had married his current wife. She says he was a gentleman, and told her she reminded him of Ivanka.

And not a peep of outrage. Why? I thought you guys were the guardians of morality and traditional values in this country. Is it because you really aren't, or because there is just such a flood of other moral outrages, from all the p**ssy grabbing, to overt racism and bigotry, that has just made you numb to this.

It's just very interesting how this whole story has just faded into the background. Where is all the righteous moral outrage and scriptural quotes? The calls for impeachment? Telling us how you cannot tolerate to live in a country where the president has an extramarital affair, WITH A PORN STAR?

You have lost all credibility in your claims to holding the moral high ground. Your religion and scripture clearly are not very good guides to any morality, except maybe hypocrisy and two-facedness.

Who can be outraged day after day, week after week. Christ. Get a life.

My question ever since Trump chose to run was how on God's green earth true conservatives -- politically and personally -- could be on board with him let alone vote for him. I thought he had ZERO chance of winning when this all began.
I voted for him because he was the best option on my ballot. He has turned out to much more conservative in his policies than I ever dreamed he would be. As of right now, he has my vote in 2020

If Trump is all that and a bag of chips, why is he paying prostitutes for sex?

Because losers like Trump have to pay for sex and love. Can you imagine any woman loving that narsassistic asshole for just him?

I wonder if Doc Jackson tested Trump for STDs.

There's more than STD's. It's been found now that there all kinds of funky viruses, parasites, and blood diseases that can be transmitted sexually with some not showing up in routine tests but at least one can cause cancer later in life. The passage of these pathogens is kind of a geometric progression as every time you have sex with someone new you might as well have sex with everyone they had sex with and so on. Pretty wild stuff.

I see now there telling us baby boomers to get a hep C test just in case. Possibly no symptoms.

The bold, totally true. I lived there.

BTW, this is what replaced those two.

Both females have something in common with Trump. They have absolutely no sense of class when it comes to make up etc. And they probably could get all kinds of professional help but refuse to.

Ever try and listen to these people on the "700 club?" Good grief calling them dimwits is being gracious.

Conservative values? Hardly.
Money laundering? Absolutely.

Money laundering is the process of transforming the profits of crime and corruption into ostensibly "legitimate" assets.[1][2] The dilemma of illicit activities is that it is often a problem spending the proceeds of such activities without raising the suspicion of law enforcement agencies. Accordingly, considerable time and effort is put into devising strategies which enable the safe use of those proceeds without raising unwanted suspicion. Such strategies are generally called money laundering. After money has been suitably laundered or “cleaned”, it can be used in the mainstream economy for accumulation of wealth, such as acquisitions of properties, or otherwise spent. Law enforcement agencies of many jurisdictions have set up sophisticated systems in an effort to detect suspicious transactions or activities, and many have set up international cooperative arrangements to assist each other in these endeavours.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Money_laundering

In the given example the money was already legal, so no money laundering was needed.

Does that mean they voted for Hillary? Does it mean they didn't vote? Voted 3rd party?

Maybe they did the smart thing and didn't vote for him, per-say... Maybe the voted for him as a vote against Hillary, like I did.

I'm with you there. I didn't vote for him as an intent of voting for him, but to help insure Hillary didn't make it as president. He has gained my respect in what he achieved in the tax bill, stock markets, etc.

Those guys were all ostracized and lost their careers when they were outed. Conservatives are still screaming themselves hoarse with enthusiasm for Trump and Roy Moore.

Get back to me when you have more than salacious accusations.

Bill was impeached for lying under oath.

Not if it was campaign cash. :doh

Wasn't the situation described years ago? And so far, no one has confirmed that it actually happened, but pardon me if I'm not following this story that closely.

He paid her off in 2016, right before the election season, to keep her quiet over an arrangement they had in 2006 or so.

Or at least so the accusation goes. I know that this is an often repeated question in response to a number of other investigations, but here goes anyway.

Is there any evidence yet?

No, so the money trail leading through Trump's personal lawyer goes.

Is that sufficient evidence to convict in court? Get back to me when it does.

Its no big deal now.. blah blah blah clinton.

Gotta guy in here who literally was saying that all affairs are equal. Be it two nobodies bumping and grinding or with a prostitute or a porn star. They are all the same when a republican does it.

Please, that ship has sailed. He was a known cheater on his former wives. Then the Billy Bush Bus interview.

Morality works for conservatives only when they can use it to control individuals.

A-****ing-men sister!

Im not religious so the observation does not offend me but I have raised this type of question with religious people before. The way it was explained to me is that they don't hate the person, they hate the sin. Judgment is reserved for the person and their maker. Even jess famously said "let he without sin, cast the first stone"

PRAISE JESS!

Hallelujah!

No, it's more than even that. I think you had forgotten all the moral outrage with Clinton's extramarital affair. They were telling us how the godless liberals had no moral compass, and the conservatives were going to fix it. Then we heard about Newt Gingrich's extramarital affair (while he was pursuing impeachment against Clinton!), and now this business with Trump, and their deafening silence in response: speaks volumes as to their true motivations and character.

There's no deafening silence. They proudly say they don't care anymore. They can't defend it anymore so it's either:

1) False equivalence; or,
2) I don't care now.
