White House doctor set to brief press on Trump's health - CNNPolitics

Washington (CNN)Dr. Ronny Jackson, the White House physician who last week declared President Donald Trump in "excellent health," will provide more details of the President's medical exam during a briefing on Tuesday.

The White House said last week that Jackson would join White House press secretary Sarah Sanders to describe some results from the yearly physical, which was conducted Friday at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland.
On Friday evening, the White House released a statement from Jackson -- who also performed President Barack Obama's last presidential physical -- that indicated the exam went "exceptionally well" and described Trump's health as "excellent."

The sad thing is that no mental health evaluation is part of the Physical.

Whenever his doctor says anything, it reminds me of those delusional claims North Korea made about its Dear Leader.

I guess I should just chuck out my diet and start on 2 big Macs, 2 Filet of Fishes, and a chocolate shake with no regular exercise. That seems to be the trick to an exceptionally well exam.

Actually the statement that was put out by the white house yesterday about it going exceptionally well and being in excellent heath had the name of Dr. Ronnie Jackson at the end of it. So, there may have been some white house spin or paraphrasing of the actual statement, as I'm sure Dr. Jackson can spell his name. We will see today at the briefing. Personally, I do not see how a man of his age and eating habits and weight could be classified in "excellent health". Perhaps, "excellent health for a man of his age, weight and poor diet".

He also doesn't drink or smoke, and has had access to the highest quality healthcare since birth. I don't find it too surprising that he would be considered to have above average health for a 70 year old man.

It was Friday, not yesterday. The statement was written by someone in the White House and she misspelled the doctor's name. Dr. Jackson himself gave CNN a statement that supported the statement from the White House and said he would give more details on Tuesday (today).

Oh no, you don't get lucky with genetics like Trump does very often. With a diet like that, I guarantee you won't look nearly as good as he does when you're seventy - and that's already a questionable bar to aim for as it is.

Whenever his doctor says anything, it reminds me of those delusional claims North Korea made about its Dear Leader.

When this doctor conducted Obama's last exam, did his findings remind you of North Korea? Or is it a recent revelation you had once the doctor examined the other party?

Somehow, I doubt that was what you said when the same doctor examined Obama.

I think we can all hope to have it as good as Trump does when we're seventy.

Are you confused? When President Obama was president, this guy was President then-candidate Trump's doctor:

Cameras rolling, Manhattan gastroenterologist Harold Bornstein was confronted last week with a letter that carried his signature. In that letter, the writer “state[d] unequivocally” that Donald Trump “will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency.”

The president gets to dictate what is or is not disclosed by the doctor. A fat old man who watches TV 8 hours a day while eating cheeseburgers isn't going to have what i would consider "excellent" health.

Right, when he wasn't President Trump's doctor, when President Trump wasn't dictating his statement, he didn't remind me of North Korean delusions.

Same doc examined Obama and released what Obama said was ok, but no problem there?

I would agree excellent health isn't the way I describe Trump.

I would say he is on the healthier side for a man his age. I know more people in their 70's that couldn't play the amount of golf Trump does physically than can.

But not excellent the way I consider peak athletes

I simply don't trust unrealistically positive evaluations.

A doctor who claims to know unequivocally that President Trump is the healthiest president to enter office, having never assessed any other president, has no credibility.

Any doctors statement that is edited by President Trump is suspect.

Dr. Ronny Jackson just went over all of the test results including cardiac and cognitive tests -- all normal. His only issue is a slightly elevated cholesterol which is he being medicated for. The doctor also said that the "slur" from a few weeks ago was likely caused by Sudafed. Trump has no dentures or partials.

I saw that. A bit surprised at the weight, he looks heavier. I still stand by my statement. He is in good health for some of his age, weight, and other considerations. He is not, however, in excellent health.
