Another change affects social welfare. Until now applicants in receipt of welfare benefits were excluded from applying for citizenship.

From January this will be extended to include those in receipt of social welfare in the three years prior to their application.

An exception is made if the benefits are paid back in full.

A good start for the US, plus... and/or... pay any and all back taxes with penalty. Plus a fine. And then you only get a Green Card... not citizenship for 25-years.

Oh! And you have to pass language tests too in Switzerland.

Which should be mandatory in the US as well... showing English proficiency.

They pick their own vegetables and cut their own grass! They don’t need anybody. Plus their society is very closed to foreigners,
I can hear the right howling about that! Way too late to close the gate now.
