I agree that we have the right to read the testimony which was not classified. I'm on p.278.

Absolutely. This was a great act of political courage by the Senator from California respecting the right to know of the American people.

One of the few proposals from her I agree with.

It's been a long time since I agreed with her on anything, if ever at all. In this case I fully agree with her. Yes, as long as it isn't classified, transparency is a good thing.

DO you agree with Feinstein's release of the dossier interview transcripts? Grassley had promised to release them but now refuses to do so while appearing to use them to go after Christopher Steele. So do you agree with Feinstein's actions in this case and does the public have the right to know?

The republicans kept this non classified material from America, so they could protect their sleazy president. Hell yes I'm glad its released.

I have no problem with releasing testimony after the investigation in the Judiciary committee is completed.

In fact I am sure much testimony scripts will be provided along with the final report.

But there are still some key witnesses to give testimony before committees in Congress that have direct ties to the Dossier, Steele and Fusion GPS.

From the beginning, Grassley and others wanted Fusion to give their testimony in public but Fusion took the fifth and when they agreed to giving their testimony behind closed doors members of Fusion still took the fifth. They have hardly been forth coming with information as Congress had to battle them in court to obtain key bank documents. This went on for weeks but the judge ruled in favor of Congress and they just received those documents a couple of days ago. And FUSION is in another court battle and is doing everything possible to avoid producing information.

I find Feinstein's actions rather strange. She insist on releasing this testimony over all others when there are so many left to come before the committee. that have ties to Fusion.

Oh well, I learned today Congress now has in possession the bank records and all documents pertaining to the Dossier from the FBI and DOJ.

Agreed with the provision that it does not taint any ongoing investigations. There is a reason witnesses don't sit in the courtroom during a trial and are only there when they are needed to testify.

Steele saw a crime in progress. He reported it to the FBI. Grassley along Graham tried to cover it up. Steele confirmed what the FBI already knew. The Senate Judiciary tried to pass off a false narrative. She persisted. Thanks, Senator Feinstein.
