Our social superiors in Hollywood have decided who the plebs should vote for in the 2020 presidential race. And they have chosen Oprah, one of their own. This decision came after a speech Oprah Made at the Golden Globes -- an even where celebrity elites comes together to pat each other on the back.

Prior to the Oprah speech this Golden Globes was famous for the "Silent protest" against sexual harassment and assault in Hollywood -- which most of them knew about anyway.

Thats 500 times more terrifying than Trump. Are they trying to one up? Oprah is not a nice person, shes a TV character. Looks like Hollywood is in control.

The bar has been set, and set really low. I actually struggle to find someone dumber or of worse moral character than the (R)'s did. Seriously, all I could come up with that wasn't in prison was Mike Vick, and chances are he is smarter. He is certainly more self made than Trump.
 
Oprah's 15 minutes of fame.
She'll never make it out of the starting gate.

She is a person who is very well liked and has a good reputation. That being said, I do not see a wave of TV personalities running for president. I think Trump will cure that.

I wouldn't vote for her but if it were Trump vs Oprah, I would vote for Oprah easily. At least she would read and listen to competent advisors. There would be no constant tweets and her entire administration wouldn't be pleading guilty for lying.

At the very least I think Oprah is an honest decent human being. I can't say that about Trump.
 
This sorta seems like the political version of a 1 night stand just to get back at Trump.
 
I'd vote for her. But, some around here would likely soil their pants. If you think they fuss about Hillary, who is no longer running for President.. :2razz:
 
From what little I do know about Oprah she wouldn't be my first choice nor make the short list.
I think she has some skeletons to hide and a primary would dip up her secrets. After seeing the hit the Trump brand is taking Oprah doesn't want hers to do the same IMO
 
Oprah is the only person on the face of the planet who's more of a megalomaniac than Trump. She unleashed Dr Phil on us. She unleashed Dr. Oz on us. She supports Jenny McCarthy. The woman is evil.

What is it with you democrats? Can't you find a decent candidate? Don't start with the "well...the republicans!..wahhhh!" Don't deflect. Find a candidate that's not a megalomaniac...not a rapist...not a token...isn't as corrupt as a busted hard drive and people will vote for that candidate.

Put Oprah up there? Congratulations idiots...you will have given us four more years of Donald Trump.

The punditry seems to think that she's get the primary, as the most recently anointed one. You can see them doing their political divisiveness and intersectional politics math; a black, and a woman and a liberal = trifecta!

The punditry seems she'll lose in the general. Angelic Oprah has a few scandals in her past that would soil her angelic white overalls. Trump's been hit with all the mud in the world, and the kitchen sink, and it still didn't stop him.

Even though its way early, I'm inclined to agree. If Oprah runs, it'll probable end up a Trump 2nd term.
