It has taken less than one year of Trump regulation-cutting, and just the prospect of tax reform, to create the best employment prospects for African-Americans in history, according to employment data just released this morning. Christopher Rugaber of the Associated Press reports:

The unemployment rate remained 4.1 percent for a third straight month, the lowest level since 2000, the Labor Department said Friday.

Remember they all made fun of him when he said “What have you got to lose?”

1. That's a blog, not a news source. Could you not have quoted a news article that gave those numbers?
2. You said 4.1% in your post. The current unemployment rate according to articles I looked at was 6.8%. Still not bad, but quite a bit higher.
3. Thanks, Obama!
4. What is your plan to narrow that unemployment gap between blacks and whites?
5. Was this part of the growth of the "gig economy" and the rise of near-minimum-wage jobs?

It's not the lowest rate in history if your own article says "since 2000", and I didn't hear you celebrating when "decade" low unemployment was hit numerous times under Obama. We've been on an 8 year consecutive drop in unemployment.

They were all high paying coal mining jobs.

Continued improvement established under Obama.

Thank you President Trump!

Then write him in in 2020!

That's interesting. I wonder what economists do to measure the tail effect on various major economic legislation. I did read an article where as of 2012 it wasn't yet a long enough period of time to get a full measure of the Obama stimulus legislation. Any adjustment has it's same full effect every year until changed, and passes through every administration in-between. But legislation like a stimulus is different.

Politics is about the “now” and only many years later are presidents judged. Politics is a blood sport over who will spend the taxpayers money and what it will be spent on, and no one really cares about “the other guy”. The instant Trump was sworn in, was the instant Obama became yesterday’s news. He’s expected to show up where invited and other than that, persue a statesman like retirement.

Yup......

Thanks volsrock for reporting this but as you know there will be liberal/Demos who will wastefully challenge this.
We all know this would not happened during the obama regime. This is something the liberal/Demos could not do let alone make something up that's similar which at the end will be deemed their usual lies.

Nice to know history started in 2000. You may want to let the American Thinker know that the rest of us realize that history has been around a bit longer.
