It's official. The Democratic Party is officially embracing terrorism as a means of achieving their goals. We saw signs of it in the past but now they're openly endorsing it. Trump needs to have antifa labelled as a terrorist organization immediately.

It will be, and the left will continue to play the racist, rube, and illiteracy cards en route to their next defeat. Their lack of self-awareness is both stupefying and entertaining all at once.

There has been numerous discussions about Antifa here on DP and I don't recall any leftists condemning Antifa and all its works. I may be mistaken however, there may be one or two, but generally the left has remained silent much like so-called "moderate" muslims remain silent on terrorism.

It's interesting that Ellison is also a muslim who has close ties to the Mo Bros (Muslim Brotherhood), who has ties to CAIR, a known supporter of terrorism. Antifa takes a lot of their tactics from terror groups and even duplicates the uniform.

I've became convinced a number of years ago that the American left and jihadists are ideological allies in that both despise America and seeks it's destruction.

anyone that supports any of these extremist groups should not be taken seriously and questioned as to their intent.

I find it funny that people want to condemn violence of one group but not of the other simply because they side with their view point.
if it gets to the point you are threatening someone and engaging in violence in a non-self defensive manner then you need to go back and
review your compass because something is out of whack.

There were actually a large number of left leaning DPers that condemned Antifa. However, we did have some far lefty folks that sang Antifa's praises.

Last I looked, the GOP doesn't have a hell of a lot of room to be calling the Democrats the party of corruption. In my opinion, it depends more on the subject, the day of the week, the particular party member we're talking about, and which party is in power as to who has currently been afflicted by the corruption bug.

For instance, we can name a few GOP governors from Alabama, and a few Democratic governors from Illinois, that have spent time in the federal pen following their time in office.

And, don't get me started on Congress.

How'd it get so partisan? I miss the good ole days when you hated the government or loved it, no matter who that was. It was simpler that way. Now, you always end up, sooner or later, in the position of supporting an a$$hole and opposing someone decent just because of the colour of the banner behind them.

Or not particularly caring for either one, holding your nose, and voting for the lesser of two evils. I still cannot believe that in a society of 300,000,000, the best we could come up with were the two choices we had in 2016.
