Yeah; I have a lot of opinions, too, about certain people, and they're not exactly flattering. I also have a lot of "they say" and "I was told by certain people".(grin)

The only MUST SEE for me would be if one these waffling guys had concrete evidence that Putin propelled Trump to the highest office in this country.

Woodward isn't a has been. I don't agree with him a lot, but he's no has been.

the video is a bit over nine minutes & most here likely did not watch the video; it is pretty interesting (to me) what Woodward & Bernstein both have to say.
IMO considering the history of their respective careers, I do not believe the claims they make are made lightly, nor made without vetting their respective sources.
Neither of them IMO has any real advantage of gain to make such claims; they are old school reporters, a dying breed that we sadly need more of ............

I watched the entire thing. I don't share their political beliefs but it's partisan ignorance to discount their opinions entirely given the unparalleled history they have when it comes to investigative reporting.

Woodward is no fan of Trump's, and makes no secret of that. Nor am I for that matter. But unlike Woodward, I have no credibility (nor does anyone else here). He walked the walk and delivered the goods.

He's anything but a "has been". Again, disagree with his politics. I do it daily. But I won't discount the man's critical thinking skills and demonstrated ability to see things the rest of us don't see.

I agree and will add they also had an anonymous source. 1 lowly anonymous source started the whole thing.
Now we need concrete proof and a conviction before we can say yes sometging happened and it needs to be investigated.

everything is "opinion"

everyone in washington has an opinion, and most of them are wrong

yes...they were great reporters 25 years ago....their coverage of watergate is legendary

Katherine Graham and the Post were also great back then

times have changed....they havent....and i hear old angry men mad that Trump won

And you know what, over the last decades I have seen now and then people talking about how these two were always more lucky than good, and that they had become cucks to the establishment. Plus we know how much so many of the so-called journalists and their employers have wanted to be the next Woodward and Bernstein's, craving it, the the exclusion of all else, has had to do with the great decline of journalism.
