Democrats’ year of living angrily

After 8 years of acting like this...

You all shouldn't talk about Democrats living angrily.

Basically, yes, to reinforce my position all I have to do is point to the Tea Party.

The thread title duplicates the article title. So do you think the Orange County Register is on the wrong side of the aisle? And have you read the linked article? Asking because this post doesn't suggest that you have.

Orange Country, the home of California's Nazis--that Orange County?

in 2017 she was named “Humane Legislator of the Year” for her efforts at curbing cruelty to animals.
Lets start there. The rest will be considered.

Well, they're in DC too, so we shouldn't be reading the Washington Post either.

NB seems to be under the impression that OC is some bastion of liberalism. She could not be more wrong. That was my point with the original response to her post.

You are not looking ahead. Don’t look where a reformer has been but where he is going. The foreign affairs that came out of WW2 are no longer effective and need to be changed. Banging a pot with wooden spoons will drown out your own voice and make you irrelevant.

It’s about reforming the US government, and all the lefties can do is bitch about it for no coherent reason. You will have a chance at a re-do in three more years, and will probably be as effective as you are today - a group of angry, noisy people with no plan - certainly no plan a rational person would follow!

Trump is a reformer. And those who like our disfunction “just like it is” are going to have to adjust to change.

What exactly is Trump reforming?!

He’s given tax breaks to himself, the rich and corporations. Members of his inner circle are pleading guilty to crimes. He alienated our allies while being subservient to our geopolitical foe—Russia. He’s gotten involved in childish Twitter feuds. He’s golfed more than any president. He’s lied more than any president.

What in your imagination is being reformed?

Hell, they were so angry at the Obama presidency, the elected a Reality T.V. Star birther to be his successor.

Notice how the Tea Party has basically vanished like a fart in the wind now that they have their new orange Republican president. You won't hear a peep from those clowns until the next Democrat president is elected.

Ironic post of the new year nominee

Deficits suddenly don't matter anymore. Fascinating.

I'm unfamiliar with the publication.

And yes, I did read the whole article. My favorite part was the inclusion of a WH Auden poem. My general takeaway; attempts to normalize Trump miss their mark, while conflating milquetoast opposition from the Democrats with radical, unhinged rebellion. Democratic opposition is seen as traitorous but, Republican opposition is seen as patriotic. Meanwhile, Trump is doing generational damage to our domestic and foreign policy, daily. Do I care that Democrats are mad at him? I want them to become angrier. I want them to call for his impeachment.

I don't believe I said there's a right and wrong side of the aisle. I just said, that one side of the aisle has made remarks about a former president that are deserving of ire. And not to mention, you'd have to be a pretty bitter and angry person to make those remarks to begin with.

When you name a thread or, an article 'Democrats living in anger', don't be surprised if anger swirls in and around it.

Again, the thread title simply duplicates the article title. I think your criticism here is misplaced.

NB seems to be under the impression that OC is some bastion of liberalism. She could not be more wrong. That was my point with the original response to her post.

You seem to be unable to distinguish between what you read and what preconceptions you wish to impose on others.

What I said, and not to you, in my one post in this thread previous to this morning was, "The thread title duplicates the article title. So do you think the Orange County Register is on the wrong side of the aisle? And have you read the linked article? Asking because this post doesn't suggest that you have."

So my asking whether somebody else thinks the Orange County Register is on the wrong side of the aisle translates for you into your imagining that I think that Orange County is a "bastion of liberalism."

Your willingness to create fiction is just pathetic.

You asked if the OCR was on "the wrong side of the aisle." I believe I answered that for ya.

No, you didn't. First, you'd have to know how I define "wrong side of the aisle." Just admit it; you made up what you imagine I think. Trying to spin that now won't change the fact.

If anyone is spinning, it's you. I called bull**** on your post. Admit it.

Hell, they were so angry at the Obama presidency, the elected a Reality T.V. Star birther to be his successor.

And Republicans were told we could never win a national election ever again to. :lamo By Democrats....

The lesson learned: Never overestimate the intelligence of Republicans.

I asked someone else--not you--a question, and you chose to answer and invent.

My understatement of the year:

Trump has experienced some growing pains in his first year, and will get better as his term advances. Civilians have a rough time dealing with the disfunctional chaos of self governance. But we all suspect the alternatives are worse, even when we don’t act like it.

Trump is a reformer. And those who like our disfunction “just like it is” are going to have to adjust to change.

So to my friends, enemies, and frenemies, have a happy and prosperous new year! It’s gonna be a great ride!

Yes, we love Rogers in our state. She pushed through a ban on the sexual assault of animals. Of course she isn't like Trump. Trump and his family hate animals and probably think the ***** grabbing of a dog is as acceptable as the ***** grabbing of a female human.

Why can’t some people just grow up. Chimps are not human, apes are not human, and humans are not chimps or apes.

Start your own thread on chimps and apes, particularly thread crapping chimps and apes.

Plus, the EBS never reads the link, they just **** on anyone in range.

As much as I dislike chimps, I don't believe I brought them up just now.
