Fascinating historical documentary of how we went from Eisenhower to Trump

How did we end up with a president Donald Trump? This documentary I just watched offers a very broad, panoramic historical overview of the events, the racism, the politics, the corporate greed and power, the misunderstandings and cultural eccentricities, the contingencies, etc... that led to where we are today. Unfortunately, though, it's the first of a two part series, and stops with Clinton. I couldn't find the second part, at least not yet. But I still thought it was still very informative. It brought a lot of seemingly fragmented and unrelated events and information together for me.

Thanks for posting this.

It's the kind of stuff I often like - the big picture stuff. I'm a bit wary of Al Jazeera, but welcome the chance to get a non-MSM perspective on this. I do feel confident enough in my personal grasp of the facts, that I won't be led astray.

Hopefully, I can get to this sometime tonight.

Al Jazeera all in all is much more reliable than anything the american corporate state media machine vomits up. But as always, due diligence is required on all fronts now. And it just got easier to do the same trickery with the internet.
