2024 is a long ways away, which will be the next time the DNC has a chance at the White House.

My guess is that Trump's first term will be followed by Trump's second term and the complete elimination of any shred of credibility the MSM is still clinging to.

If the Dems intend to beat him or Pence, they might want to start trying to figure out if they stand for anything and not just against Trump.

Something beats nothing every time. Right now the Dems are nothing.

Trump's job is to set it all up: alienate all our allies, egg on our enemies, inflate all the bubbles; and then ride off into the sunset, leaving the big mess to the Democrat. Then, the morons on the Right will say, "See, the Democrat messed everything up."

If not for his age, I would say Joe Biden. That would only be my democratic guess however and I have yet to decide on who has best shot as the republican nomination besides Trump.

Who Democrats will turn to in 2020 is a serious question. It's a problem. Kennedy, Carter, Clinton, Obama were dynamic, youngish candidates with voter appeal. No one like them is on the party's horizon today.

That would be because the DNC is wholly corrupt, and controls the Democratic Party with an iron fist, and instead of dealing with that, or even acknowledging it, democrats instead have doubled down on a Russian narrative in order to be on the offensive.

If democrats would only get their own house in order, and fix their campaign/electoral problems, they'd likely be running this country for the next 24 years.

I'll give you he has charisma, but I've not heard him speak publicly nor what his politics / positions are like.

We've had an actor in the White House before. Didn't go too badly if I recall, but way have just been him.
