How is giving a tax cut to the richest entities while bumping the minimum bracket from 10% to 12% AND extending the bracket a bit screwing the poor working class or ex-working-class communities that were loudest in support of him?
Prior:
0-9,325 taxable - 10%
9,326-37,950 taxable - 15%
Once bill effective:
0-45,000: 12%
91,900-191,600 got bumped down to 25% from 28% and 191,650-200,000 got bumped from 33% to 25%; but then, those aren't "poor". Meanwhile, the range that got bumped from 15% to 12% is narrow as all hell.
A lot of his voters got screwed. Meanwhile, a few businesses making billions and billions of profits give one-time bonuses worth 100-1000 bucks, costing millions while pocketing the rest, and that's supposed to be evidence that the tax cuts "worked". Some trickle down. Maybe if we slash the corporate rate to 0%, everyone will get a one-time bonus of $2,000, which is worth so very much in this economy.

They screwed his poorest supporters, they are taking aim at safety net programs benefitting them, and they now talking about slashing spending given the revenue crisis they deliberately created (ok, they're not saying the last seven words but that's to be expected). Trump signed it and praised it.
But a leftist said something about what the rightists did, so it must be attacked.
I can only hope that his poorest supporters tell themselves a couple years from now that, "even if the Democrat sucks, and even if he wants to screw us, he won't do it as hardly as the guy I last voted for did".
On the other hand, the GOP can play its decades-old trick of convincing its base to vote against themselves, to no greater benefit for the country, because abortion, guns, and gay people something something.....

If you take the standard deduction, there are very few instances where you will see a tax hike. almost EVERYONE see's a cut. that's the problem with what you posted.
