Michael Flynn's brother wants Trump to pardon Flynn.

This is is what I've worried would happen. Instead of Trump firing Mueller and taking a page from Nixon's playbook, he's going to walk in the footsteps of George H.W Bush, and pardon everyone involved in the investigation that Mueller indicts.

This is what the public attacks on Mueller are all about, conditioning part of the public for Trump issuing blanket pardons of key players, so people are not upset about Trump immunizing his circle from the rule of law.

President Donald Trump should pardon his former national security adviser and campaign aide Michael Flynn, who “has taken the biggest fall,” Flynn’s brother said Tuesday.

In a since-deleted tweet, Joseph Flynn said Trump must get the former Army general off the hook for his December 1 guilty plea stemming from his contacts with the former Russian ambassador. The plea deal is a part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election and possible coordination with the Trump campaign.

“About time you pardoned General Flynn who has taken the biggest fall for all of you given the illegitimacy of this confessed crime in the wake of all this corruption,” Joseph Flynn tweeted, though the post was deleted after about 15 minutes.

I fully expect Trump to pardon people for everything he possibly can at the federal level. He'll pardon Flynn and talk about how such "a great man" must be immunized from "the witch hunt" and then he'll do the same with Manafort, Gates, Papadopoulos, and others that might come under indictment like Kushner.

Trump cannot pardon crimes committed at the state level.

New York has Flynn and manafort on notice.

Only Manafort and Gates currently.

But he can without a doubt pardon them for their current charges, and make things difficult.

I think Trump will allow the idiot (Mueller) to complete his investigation and then make any decisions regarding pardons. If it were me, I would consider all issues, but would probably lean towards a pardon for anyone caught in a perjury trap which is often used by independent counsels to go after the main target. One well known example was Scooter Libby in the Valerie Plame/CIA witch hunt investigation during the Bush Administration.
 
Flynn's brother wants to see Micheal Flynn pardoned. This is news, why?

It looks like Flynn is getting railroaded, so a pardon would be appropriate.

Because he dares to hold conservative figures accountable to the law they lord over the rest of us with.

It's incredible to witness the hypocrisy of a political movement that wants people in jail for marijuana use, and wanted to impeach a president for lying about a sexual affair, actually make excuses for these scumbags that ought to know lying to the authorities/under oath is against the law -- especially when it involves matters of national security.

But that's the modern GOP. No decency, no honesty, and no shame.

Mueller's team has demonstrated a refusal to hold Democrats to account.

Don't call people hypocrites after defending the Clintons, the Lerners, the Obamas and the Strzoks of the world.

Yeah, anybody that's a republican is above the law, especially when they are close to a sitting republican president.

Probable cause is needed for search warrants, not interviews with the FBI.

Flynn decided to lie (for some reason) to the FBI, so he should be held accountable like the rest of us.

Polls -78% of Republicans believe this is a witch hunt- up 10 pts in the last month or so since the attacks on Mueller really spiked.

Me I am like the dog in the video below, not the Pavlov type that so many are.
