Given that we've seen so many false accusations of late, and the privilege of the Press not to have to reveal their sources, I'd say we must believe the ones who claim it didn't happen. Unless, of course, one of those accusatory sources bellies up to the bar and is brave enough to tell us his/her name.

Also, given that the people in these meetings are picked by Trump, it stands to reason that some less-than-honest reporters are pulling fast ones again.

Where do you think the term "fake news" comes from anyway?

Look, I think one gets nowhere claiming that Trump or someone else is racist unless we are talking about white supremacists or others of their ilk who get very specific about what they believe. We are all affected somewhat by different prejudices we have, but who knows what is in Trump's brain? But it is obvious, undeniable, and demonstrated relentlessly that our North Korean-style Supreme Leader (have to call him that after watching the ass-kissing following the tax bill passage) uses race, sexism, and bigotry, for fun and profit, to scare and/or appeal to some of his base and/or to simply get attention. From non-existent Muslims in Jersey celebrating 9/11 to demeaning women's looks to Mexican rapists to lying about black on white crime the man has no ethics in this regard. I assume he really doesn't care about race or religion (or the truth), he just has, as he said, "great words" that he uses to careen from one narcissistic-appearing incident to the next. He sees more profit in dividing us than in trying to unite us. For him it seems that it is all about making a sale at that moment. I think he is doing great harm, but can't keep my eyes off him.

I’m not the one who claims Trump is a racist. I say there is no proof that he is racist. If someone claims he is a racist, they must have solid proof. Where is that proof?

It's a useless discussion if you leave yourself room to just say "well that might be considered evidence but it's not PROOF!" no matter how damning the evidence is. I have no interest in playing the moving goalposts of progressively more and more racist stuff and you just repeatedly saying "not proof not proof even saying a racist thing doesn't necessarily prove you're a racist"
