I get opposing tax cuts, but why do you need to lie about it.......

(Rhetorical question, I know the answer -- because a lot of low info voters are dumb enough to believe them.)

Word of the day from Democrats regarding the tax cuts is "HEIST" -- or some other word related to theft.

And their sycophants in the media got in internal memo:

Why don't you email her office and ask her what she meant by that? I don't believe Senator Warren posts here, thank goodness.

Probably the same reason that some say that taxation in any form is theft - they are hopeless ideologues.

Definition of ideologue. 1 : an impractical idealist : theorist. 2 : an often blindly partisan advocate or adherent of a particular ideology.

There's a certain type of person who believes that wealth is a common, national resource that belongs to everyone, and that what you have, you owe to everyone else. Therefore, the less the government takes from you, the more you're depriving the common use of your wealth, and "stealing it" from the national good (as defined by those people, of course).

There is no other possible way it can be said to be "theft."

Because those individuals espouse very corrupt ideology where they look at a person's private property as if it belongs first to the state, and then to the person who owns it/earned it. Same goes to anyone else who thinks the same. It's a purposeful failing of the school systems.

Yes. These people are called "communists".

I think they are referring to the fact that it will inevitably lead to cuts. I don't agree with the idea that cutting taxes is theft. I would call it a type of distribution of wealth. I realize people may take offence to that characterization as well, but I think that is a reality of our form of government. Our system of progressive taxation is a good example. Most of us would probably agree that without some regulation we would just be left with a society where all of the money is pooled at the top, and that isn't really an effective way to run a capitalist system.

Yes, there are plenty of people who think they are owed what others have

It is not theft. Is what is required for people to chip in to have a regularized society with defense, education, health, police, etc. The issue is “how much should it take”, and “how much other stuff should the governmet do?”

Too bad the government wastes most of the "Common good" money so that big corporate campaign contributors can get rich off the public treasury. Whether it is selling them products and services or through corporate welfare.

Incidentally, Nancy Pelosi and Liz Warren have a net worth of close to $30 million and $10 million respectively. why are they not giving all that wealth to the government for the common good?

Pelosi is married to a billionaire.

I agree for the most part but believe my bolded edit brings your statement closer to the mark. Many actually do believe that any personal wealth (of any stripe or size) we may have is only by the good graces of the bureaucracy.

Your edit is an improvement.

it is theft, of the government and foreign countries lol

no longer raping businesses that actually reside in America.. providing an incentive to build/stay here as opposed to go somewhere else because they'd be taxed to **** here. they keep saying "bu bu raise deficit by 1 trillion dollars", uh, what it means is you don't get that revenue from businesses.. but i'm sure dems will find a way to replace the taxes lost from corporations.. likely targeting civilians and then blame this GOP bill for future taxations

"BU BU THE GOP LOWERED CORPORATE TAXES SO WE HAD TO TAX YOU TO MAKE UP FOR IT, GOP'S FAULT"

who isn't sharing his wealth for the common good

I'm sure they spend like most billionaires...that helps many people.

Common good is a salient political message for progressive candidates IOWs a Communist term.
