First off, let us distinguish the two different groups of Moore voters. The group that DOES NOT believe the charges and plan on voting for him and the ones that DO believe the charges, but will vote for him anyway.

The later group is disturbing in their own right. They appear to have no qualms about being represented by a child molester (if their beleif that the charges are valid is indeed correct). That speaks volumes about the immorality within a section of ther voting polulous of Alabama.

The other group can simply hide behind plausible deniabilty. He has not been convicted of anything, therefore he cannot possibly be guilty of these charges. Simply a litmus test of sorts that they would never want applied to anything pertaining to their own lives. In other words, they would likely have a VERY different opinion of somebody that sexually molested their daughter, but was later found not guilty or never prosecuted to begin with. Would they spply such a standard for the abuser of their child? Hell no they wouldnt.

Now, here is where the similarities become most disturbing. Roy Moore is not a newcommer to public office. He was TWICE removed from the Alabama Supreme Court for violating laws that he was sworn to uphold, but personally disagreed with. His views have been made public for years. He believes that all of the Amendments AFTER the 10th. are the root of evil in this country and should be revoked. Now, given the personal rights that many of the Amendments allow, I find myself wondering what "so called" Christian or Evangelical would vote for somebody with such strong racist views? Kinda makes you go HHHHMMMMMMM...and then shake your head.....:(
