Is our diversity a weakness?

I'm mulatto. My experience in America--and looking at Brazil too--makes me believe homogeneous societies are the best in general. Like Japan.

Now, "diversity" in terms of race and ethnicity can work out if all those people in the same community share some of the same basic values. If they are at war with each other based on values that can not be reconciled then peace is not going to be had. And America promotes acrimony, conflict, and hatred between different groups. Politicians of both parties love it because they can unite people behind a "common enemy." For example, having white people that subscribe to the values of white supremacy, is not some "diversity" that is going to magically make my life more wonderful as a mulatto. I have not necessarily found my own mulatto background a strength all the time. I half my family is white and from Germany back in the 1800s. How does that help me with Black-Americans or my Black-American extended family? Oh, yeah, it doesn't and never has. It put me at a disadvantage actually. Or how has half my family being Black-American and originally from the rural sharecropping South (slavery before then) helped me among white Americans? Oh yeah, it never the f__ has.

Nothing wrong with Iowa by the way. If people from New York City were so awesome and pro-everyone then Trump should be a superstar among liberals. And it should never have been dangerous for New York blacks to walk into certain white, Italian neighborhoods in New York City.

Wow... look at the lack of strength in Japan due to it being culturally and racially homogeneous. That "dangerous" area of Japan seems like the equal of one of the safest areas of Milwaukee.

Democrats promote acrimony and conflict between groups by constantly trying to spark "revolutions" and war against "the other" in the USA has values traditional to the USA namely Western Christian, largely Protestant, and largely Catholic. So, liberals demonize Christians and demonize white, heterosexual, "cis" men.

Republicans promote acrimony and conflict between groups by constantly disparaging and promoting distrust if not hostility towards non-whites "not like them."

So, American "diversity" is full of s__.

I don't give a damn about "diversity," particularly if it means I will get screwed, food, safety, community, common bonds are far more important to me than American BS "diversity."

Homogeneous societies are every bit as capable of being absolutely ****ed as multicultural societies are. Just look at any of the Slavic nations where the suicide rate parallels Japan's, or in the case of Lithuania, is half again higher. Just look at the Middle East, where multiple nations have supermajorities of their population that believe executing apostates and adulterers is the right thing to do. Just look at North Korea, a beautiful, homogenous nation getting eaten alive by the parasites from their homemade fecal fertilizer. Just look at Canada, an 84% white nation that exists for little purpose besides fueling America's undying thirst for maple syrup.

Does America have problems? Certainly. But that's not because we're one of the most diverse nations in the developed world. It's because we're violent, gun-loving assholes that value individualism above the general wellbeing of society. For now, at least - a lot of people in my generation are pansies that want the gubmint to save them from mean words, because their professors are baby-eating satanists who want to resurrect Karl Marx through the ritual sacrifice of unborn children.

At the end of the day, I'll take life in America over any other nation. I like living in a country where I can eat food from anywhere in the world without leaving my state, fire enough rounds in an afternoon at the range to exterminate an entire refugee camp in one of those trash-tier homogeneous countries, and pay strangers of any ethnicity online to mastubate on camera for me. Here's to freedom, decadence, and the world's largest economy. Now who wants to legalize meth?

Sick doesn't even begin to describe Japan. I was stupid enough to go to Google Images while looking for a screenshot of the keywords on Hentai Haven. I had looked up "weird hentai keywords." You know what came up? A drawn image of a violently orgasming woman with copious amounts of body hair and gigantic breasts, which have gigantic dicks in place of her nipples, which appeared to be lactating maggots. Oh how I wish I was making that up.

To be fair, that's the case for almost every civilization up until their respective industrial revolutions. Japan is (almost) a notable exception, as they banned non-penal slavery in the early 1700's. They may have also kept indentured servitude.

They put men on the moon. Yea those were white nerds, a subspecies of the native white cracker. The internet. They did that. Most of the really big companies. Oh and they built one more thing, I believe its called the USA, other wise known the United States of America, perhaps you heard of it? Some crackers named Jefferson, Washington, Adams and Hamilton did that.

I don't think anyone's going to bring it up at this rate, so it looks like I have to question the obvious: in what universe are Italiand and Irish nonwhite? I get that they were unpopular as hell when they first got here, but come on. They're definitely white folks.

**** it, I'll list what white people built, too: modern agricultural practices, locomotive engines, and building schematics. If you want to have a pissing match between first generation immigrants/slaves and a settled middle class/slaveowners, I'll play opposition.

Diversity put man on the moon. Diversity made and continues to make the Internet what it is today. Diversity is what makes America a place worth living.

Don't misunderstand me, I'm not white bashing. But this thread looked like it was heading in the direction of "what have minorities ever done for us", so naturally, I had put my .02 cents in.

White wasn't what this thread was about, it was about diversity. And when they came on board, the micks and whops were definitely disliked, and viewed as not being real Americans, in much the same way we currently view immigrants from the Middle East and Mexico today. Not sure which one of those two we hate more.

As for the list....it was my understanding that Egyptians developed modern agri. They black, bruh. Also, building schematics is there's, too. Unless you're into that alien stuff, but even....aliens. Not white.

I'll give steam and internal combustion engines.

As a military man all my life I look there for an answer. What happens is we take diverse people from all over, cities, farms, suburbanites, rich, poor, all races and religions, all shapes and sizes, from different cultures and different traditions and beliefs and probably a lot more differences.

Then we break them down, teach them they are no longer individuals from the ghetto or the farm or the south or north. But that we are one team. Together we succeed, alone means failure. We come to rely on one another and don't give a hoot where anyone came from, what they did prior to entering the military, what religion or no religion, race, color or creed. We have become one.

How this equates to civilian life, I'm not sure. But I do think diversity is probably good, as long as in that diversity everyone views themselves as Americans first and foremost, then whatever after that. It's when that diversity takes precedence over being an American that diversity could be a bad thing.

I think we see that in Washington today, our elected officials are too busy being Republicans and Democrats first and foremost than being Americans. Doing what is good for their party first, loyalty to party over country. That is in my opinion very dangerous. The same holds true for the religious, races, backgrounds and cultures. I think being or when we were the melting pot of the world is the way to go. Not stopping being that melting pot. When we stop being American, become or retain being black, Irish, Italian, Asian, Baptist, Catholic, atheist, northerner, southerner, Republican, Democrat and so on and so on first and foremost, this nation is in trouble.

The melting pot is in my opinion the way to go, take the best of whatever diverse group has to offer, incorporate it and discard the rest and move on.
