Roy Moore accuser admits she wrote part of yearbook inscription

I mentioned the "expert," but you needed a reason not to listen to Nelson's stepson claiming his stepmother was lying. It's okay -- I get it -- some folks simply cannot face facts when those facts go against their desires.

If you want to have a discussion, then follow these instructions:

1. Do not misrepresent what I said affirmatively or by omission.

2. Do not cut out relevant parts of my post and then act like you scored an Internets Point.

3. Do not troll, as in the bolded.

Oh brother. Do you know how ridiculous this sounds?

We of the Vast Liberal Conspiracy are very clever. You see, forty years ago - and this was around the time we were manufacturing Obama's birth announcements - we saw a potential future in which Roy Moore would leave the party and win a senatorship as a Republican. So, very sneakily, we sent her off to get a signature from Roy Moore, knowing that we could use it as a terrible weapon in this potential future.

We then waited until she obtained a stepson and we attempted to condition him to praise her virtues for the rest of time. But it backfired. We had the mind control spaceworm pointed in the wrong direction, and instead, he became convinced that she lies about everything. Shucks. Better luck next time.

/sarc off.

Honestly...it's not worth it. Some people are going to defend Moore no matter what.

If I'm correct, those were not police officers but rather mall security -- rent-a-cops -- who are typically underpaid, overweight and not trained at all in law enforcement. The accusation was that their supervisor told them to watch out for Moore - the supervisor claims he never said anything of the sort. At any rate, at this point, it appears we may have a widespread accusation ring going on that is, piece by piece, being dismantled.

So not only the women are lying but the mall workers are lying too? Does that sound rational to you?

Why is nobody asking why she added the part she did?

What was her motivation to do that?
She says she added the date and place to help remember it

Well we know that isn't true as she used he divorce document to copy his signature and the DA that went after it.

As for the OP: Adding a when and where beneath a name isn't falsification of anything. But it does narrow down her claims of abuse. Surely she wouldn't have let him sign her year book after the assault. Plus, why sign the book if you'd attacked her? So, only half the time she claims it happened is now (likely) valid. If he did it, it was in January of 78.

Second, the signature looks awfully similar to other signatures that are publicly available. I don't doubt the signature until Gloria Alred starts parading around saying it is accurate. Gloria has been involved with so many of these allegations that have gone no where, almost all of which are against Republicans, that I have to wonder if she isn't manufacturing claims.

It's falsification when she claims he wrote it.

Well, we now know one woman lied -- and we have a supervisor that tells us he did not make the comments he was accused of making. That's pretty cut and dried.

As for the others -- who knows? When stuff like this happens, it brings copycats out of the woodwork. That's just par for the course.

Where did she claim that?

From the OP:

"During her original press conference with Allred in November, in which she made her original accusation, Nelson read aloud and attributed the entire inscription to Moore, including the date and location.

"He wrote in my yearbook as follows: 'To a sweeter more beautiful girl, I could not say Merry Christmas, Christmas, 1977, Love, Roy Moore, Olde Hickory House. Roy Moore, DA,'" she said."

Why is nobody asking why she added the part she did?

Maybe it's this:

"Moore, who went on to become a judge and then the chief justice of the Alabama State Supreme Court, later ruled against Nelson in a 1999 divorce case."

Maybe that's a little too literal. Did she ever say end quote? If not, should we assume everything she said since is attributable to Roy Moore?

I don't know if she's lying or not, but giving the date and place at the end of the quote isn't necessarily attributing the date and place to the individual that wrote it.

If you look at the picture, do you believe that Margaret Thatcher wrote the date?

Just to point out, that idea is not in keeping with what we know of sexual assault victims, particularly young ones.

Allred is the Al Sharpton of sex abuse claims; a hack who's in it for the name and the fame, and the fortune.

That, however, does not explain why Moore refuses (though he claimed he would) to prove that it isn't his signature. He certainly could have. Nor is Allred being a parasite evidence against the dozens of other witnesses.

She had plenty of oppurtunity to admit she added the text to the inscription. It was a lie by omission, at best.

Maybe, but it is so unimportant unless the date is inaccurate. If she falsified the date, then there is something there. It would be interesting to see an ink analysis. Especially if they can determine if the date ink is significantly younger than the signature ink.

It's important because it brings her credibility into question.

That she memorialized with date and place after he signed it, in a pen that is obvious for all to see differed from the inscription and signature is

one stupid ass hill to die on.

So very sad the lengths some of these people will go through to defend the lowest of lowlifes.

Not really. It brings in to play her ability to be 100% accurate. But, when it comes to sexual assault, no one is ever 100% accurate. Neither is memory that is 40 years old.

I don't think she's truthful, but arguing she's lying over something this minor only bolster's her status. My guess is the admission was planned and you are falling for the ruse.

She should have said that from the git-go.

Like I said: a lie by omission.

It brings her whole story into question.

"He attacked me around Christmas 1977. And look, here's his inscription in my yearbook to prove it".

That story has bull**** written all over it, now.

As much as I can find, the police never said Moore was banned from the mall. "One officer" said he heard Moore was banned from the mall. This officer is unnamed. According to the manager of mall security during this time period, he indicates he had never heard of Moore being banned.

Moore's accuser claimed he bought her alcohol at a restaurant during a supposed dinner date when she was under age. The restaurant was in a dry county.

Moore apparently made a notation in the accuser's yearbook and then signed it. This yearbook is not available for independent examination. We are supposed to take an ambulance chaser's word for it. Laughable.

I guess the left's championing of civil rights just flew out the window. So much for the presumption of innocence.

I am pretty sure too that I read someone checking out the "He locked the car doors and I could not get away" story and discovered that cars did not do that back then.

Cars in 1977 didn't have locks back then.

Who knew?
