The same things that were always acceptable. Just because the movies and TV are filled with reality show sluts doesn’t mean that’s the way the world works.

Maybe it is OK now, in fact maybe she loves it, but 8 years from now she changes her mind..... or says she did, for what ever reason......

Surely you see how the rules have been written with the intent to be unjust towards men.
 
As a good rule of thumb don't go hugging women unless they are close friends because that is really creepy.

I started a thread about these old accusations. Without physical evidence, most of these oldies should be discarded out of hand.

(This could really have a negative effect on dating and reproductive rates, but then, sex robots aren't all that far off from what I hear)

The safest is that if its strictly and only work related, never critical, then that might be OK, but then, sometimes you can never tell on that either.

Certainly paints a much less social work atmosphere for the future. Sure hope the women like it that way.

Geez. It used to be so easy, before the left's sexual revolution, when it seemed that almost anything goes. Now, they want to re-write the rules in their own, confused image. How about going back to the rules that were at one time?

Carjosse, a woman steps up and accuses you of a sexual assault from ten years ago. No video. No pictures no nothing. The accusation is enough to be convicted in the court of public opinion. So, Carjosse, how are you going to defend yourself? She says it happened in the elevator when you both worked at the same company. Prove it didn’t happen.

Most people would see it as the bull**** it is, not to mention the person making the accusation would have to be pretty mentally unstable to begin with. You people are blowing things massively out of proportion no one in their right mind would take that accusation seriously. No one is accusing these industry people of hugging someone without their consent, multiple people are accusing these men with a reputation of being sexual abusive of rape and sexual assault in an industry well known for it. If you think that people will accuse someone because of a hug you are ****ing delusional.

The takeaways from these scandals should be to take accusations seriously and not hide them, not that hugging will get you accused of sexual assault. You are taking a problem that doesn't exist and making a big deal out of it.

:doh: Oh, good grief. Some guys have no clue. If it's a friend and he or she is having a lousy day, just ask if they need a hug. If she doesn't need or want a hug, she will tell you. I don't recommend attempting to hug, without asking first, or you might get a fat lip.

Actually, before the sexual revolution, it was pretty straight forward. You only had sex once married. Simple, easy, unmistakable.

Then it was anything goes, and, yes, some of the presently uncovered perversions, are all part of that revolution and self discovery, as is now the realization that some sort of clear and simple lines need to drawn.

If what's going on now, this re-writing of previously understood rules and boundaries, is any indication of whats going to follow, it won't be clear and simple, and be anything but.

Imagine that you'll have to protect your future with a signed check list of what was understood to be permitted and what wasn't understood to be permitted.

Any wonder why some would be inclined to just say 'screw it' and get a sex robot?
