Alabama and Tribalism

BTW, the supreme court just today upheld Trump travel ban from 6 countries, in your mind are the SC members Nazi's also for doing so?
Trump after the fact added two more countries to the band & eventually he'll add more.

Let’s take a walk... we permit live abortions because not to restricts the rights of women... we are wasting GENERATIONS of our youth in broken inner cities that are war zones and can’t provide even a rudimentary education... our healthcare is so damned expensive with such high deductibles that tens of millions can’t even afford to use it... our congressmen are bought off by their favorite lobbyists... to create more problems than they fix... our national debt is $20.5 trillion dollars... by many professionals, it has now become so large that it is impossible to pay off... our deficit spending last year alone was $552 billion and we just keep spending... we owe our souls to foreign governments who finance over 45% of our debt by investing in our bonds... both political parties are so partisan, they wouldn’t work together to turn on a water hose to save a baby dying of thirst... it is virtually impossible to get rid of incumbents to turn things around... we have a “Dont you DARE gore my ox,” mentality that is strangling us... tired yet?

Aside from that strange abortion mention, which I don't think dem's support, all of that looks like a result of republican legislation/obstruction.
Which party wants to rebuild infrastructure/education? Dems
Which party wants to drop health care costs via universal insurance? Dems
Which party is OK with raising taxes on the ultra-wealthy to pay for that and lower the debt? Dems

Remember, Republicans are currently for Trump, but before that madness, it was:
for big military spending but for zero debt and zero tax increase, so they were not making sense
but if push comes to shove, utlra-wealthy/corporate tax decrease first!
inner cities/education - need tough love
insurance - status quo - they are pro insurance lobby, unregulated markets
I think you just need vote Dem, problem solved.

I'm only slightly being partisan in that...I really see most of what you listed as exactly what Republicans intentionally **** up.

Should I vote Democratic to fix the broken inner-city schools? Fix the warzones? The worst of the worst cities are under Dem control and have been for many years. How’s THAT been workin’? Or don’t you care about the poor who suffer under their leadership? Last year, Obama added $556 billion to our deficit. Yeah, he’s helping the problem. Under Dem leadership, we have tens of millions of people who have such high deductibles under the ACA they can’t afford to USE healthcare. How many families can afford the first $6000 of healthcare for each person in their family? Not very many.

This is not a partisan issue. What we have here is bipartisan failure. And politicians are delighted with your mindset that it’s the other guy’s fault. Simply delighted.

Republicans gave us the war on drug that put how many african american fathers in jail for years for minor drug charges because they were not elite/white drugs? Institutionalized prisons? Cuts to welfare/education...this is what Republicans gave you. Don't make this out to be tit for tat. Sometimes you have to accept facts. They find the military, but they don't fund social issues where lives matter do they? And we're talking national level. If it's a ****ty state with corrupt politicians, definitely vote the other party in, no debate there.

Health insurance has been skyrocketing for 15+ years, don't try to pin that on Obama. What he did was give us the ability to leave a job and still have coverage due to pre-existing, that was a huge deal. But what did Republican do for healthcare? *crickets*.

Dems are not utopia, but they are a world away from the ****-show of Republicans.

But it was removed without the folks from other states and the national media telling us we had to remove it.

I think this is what is happening in Alabama. If Moore wins, it will be because all those folks and media from outside the state of Alabama was telling them how to vote, that got their hackles up. Right now most republicans because of all the out of state interference think these allegations were a dirty trick spawned by the Jones' campaign. Besides, it is next to impossible to prove anything 40 years after the fact. It's he said, she said situation. Democrats jumping on the side of the she, republicans on the side of the he.

Yes, how dare people tell you that you should remove the image of a "movement" which murdered thousands of American soldiers and sailors to keep Americans in slavery, and whose adherents fought for a century afterwards to deny Americans their basic civil rights. Calling Alabama tribal is a put down on people belonging to Tribes. The IQ average has to be around 80
 
What it boils down to is red-state/bible-belt Alabama would vote for Lucifer himself if it meant another Senate vote against legal abortion and LGBT rights.

Nope, it's the same thing repeated over and over and over again in dozens of threads. Democrats are always declared guilty, often of things that never actually happened, while Republicans who support trump are as pure as the glistening snow.....according to Trump supporters.
