How does that make it ok?
Where did I say that it's OK?
How does that make it ok?
Where did I say that it's OK?
Where did your example note that that should be condemned, also? With no disclaimer your post implied it.
Yes, it dd.
It's quite the stretch to call anything Tigerace said there, regardless of whether you agree with it or not, "racist."
Nice blanket generalizations there.
Same to you, I notice you didn't offer anything to dispute my claim.
Sounds like a person with nothing. Keep up the good work. Why bother? When you are guity of blanket generalizations of an entire race, you have no claim worthy of disputing.
So...this guy's pretty much over, he's destroyed his career, he's been condemned by just about everyone, the piece is ridiculous, clearly a gross overreach that probably seemed like a great idea at the time. I mean, I can understand where the anger that drove it comes from, it is the American south, after all, but you would think that someone interested in journalism would understand integrity...bah, actually, I just shot myself in the foot there, but maybe I get a point for calling it before you did?
I don't find it all that interesting, though...as gross and unfair and inappropriate as it is, it is the product of something else that no one wants to talk about, so I won't either.
What I do find interesting is the coverage. Google this story, and see who pops up first. It seems like the Right leaning media outlets are practically busting their zippers and painting the walls to get this out and into the hands of sensitive, excitable white folks.
A) I thought it was only the Left leaning media that got off on sensationalizing "the race card", in order to drive division and ratings.
B) Why is the Right acting so pissed? Clearly they are enjoying this....someone needs to put the PARTY in the pity party, I think. Then we can all have fun, drink a couple beers, and toast the idiot who wrote the opinion piece that allows us to generalize and over simplify and find yet another reason to flip "the other side" the bird. I'll bring the limbo stick, you bring the ping pong balls.
I wouldn't lump San Marcos, TX in with the stereotype of the South that you hold. Texas State University is located in a town that is 40% Hispanic and 5.5% black. This is probably not the Southern stereotype you were going for, but it is the reality of many southern towns, especially in Texas, where Hispanics are the dominant group, not whites.
Martinez's column comes after a year's worth of race-baiting fliers have been posted around campus. A call for a vigilante squad to torture those promoting diversity went up just days after Donald Trump became president-elect in November 2016. Last December, fliers urging students to report undocumented students were posted in the school's student center. Another round of fliers in February 2017 encouraged white men to take back the country their ancestors died for (like slaves weren't forced to fight). Anti-semitic fliers, adorned with black swastikas, were posted in March. Most recently (as far as we know), flyers promoting white supremacy and using the "blood and soil" phrase used by German Nazis were posted around campus in late October.
Me either.
Geeeez..you mean conservative media were the only ones covering this? Shocking innit? Wolf Blitzer must have been busy that day.
Hold up here Nate. The newspaper of a publicly funded state university published an article about the benefit of eradicating white culture. And this isn't newsworthy to you? It's downright shocking to most of us. But I know how you feel; every time Blitzer and his ilk harp on the police for shooting a career criminal, I'm usually unmoved.
Blah, blah...you're ignoring the ongoing trend of minorities openly displaying hatred and bigotry of whites. Which DNC official was it who said it was time to ' leave whites behind' after the 2016 election?
