Breaking: Gateway Pundit Blogger Lucian Wintrich Assaults Woman at UConn Speech - Little Green Footballs

Videos from several angles at the link. Wintrich has been arrested. Not sure what happened, but he clearly assaulted this woman in front of a full room...pretty damned stupid for this bow-tie propaganda slinger.

For those of you who don't know, Gateway Pundit, (led by "the stupidest man on the internet" Jim Hoft) is an alt-right "news" source that is frequently, and laughably wrong.

But the rubes just eat up the fake news from this site, several of the "adorables" here post links from the site.

Been a really bad week for the alt-right fake hate "news" sites.

From the video in your link, it appears that while he was "distracted" by the male of the duo, the female stole his speech papers/notes and walked away. When he saw that he pursued and grabbed her to get them back.

He should have told security she had stolen them and let them handle it.

Yeah, they were both in the wrong. She shouldn't have taken the dork's notes and the dork shouldn't have taken it upon himself to get them back. It looks like there was plenty of LE there to whom to make the dork's case.

It could have been her paper, you don't know that. You do know that the White House correspondent for Gateway Pundit got arrested tonight, the woman didn't.

Of course he got arrested. He physically assaulted her to retake his property.

I've already stated TWICE that he should have told security and the police and let them deal with her.

Is your point a that gay person can't represent conservative, libertarian, or right politics?

Guess you forgot the Log Cabin Republicans, and Milo himself, among others.

Or is it your position that it must only be old, experienced news people with supposed gravitas that should have the opportunity...despite their own childish antics the last year?

So the Press room is filled with piranha looking for anything to chew up, but you wonder how any "Right-wing" pundit who happens to be young and gay is allowed a press pass. :confused:

I've gotta agree with you, man, that's how it looked to me at first glance. I mean, the guy is a lunatic, and nothing would justify his response, I think it would be gross if people tried, but that was also a stupid move on the woman's part. She shouldn't have gotten beaten up for it, but she kinda got herself into the situation. I'm guessing there will be a fair amount of side picking on this one, though...

We don't know who was wrong with the papers, but physical violence is always the wrong response.

The fact that only he was arrested, is interesting in that if she stole his papers one would think she'd catch a case too. If she did five-finger his stuff, she should be sitting in an adjoining cell, right?

We need more info.

It was free speech. But the speaker was only interested in trolling the audience, and he got heckled like crazy because his speech was garbage. Then he went nuts and physically assaulted a woman.

Conservatives: going insane and physically attacking people every chance they get.
