I dont know what that is but I am pretty sure Time has no better play than a collection of female victims.

We'll know in days, it almost certainly would have been Rose Mcgowan till that drug thingie came up.



EDIT: I just now see that they are calling this #MeToo....perfect.

This is about Trump having fun with the Time Person Of the Year thing so it is partly about the Time Person of the Year thing, and me not seeing another thread on the matter...

On the one hand his ego would be on Cloud 9 if he got it, so for that reason I have a hard time believing he would turn it down. Except...

...maybe he actually is butt hurt that it's not already a done deal. He IS that sensitive.

But really, I think he lied, made it up entirely. I seriously doubt Time consults with prospective recipients.

The part where they say Trump is wrong. "The President is incorrect about how we choose Person of the Year."

The magazine’s editors are the ones who select the Person of the Year, but the publication offers a poll where readers can vote for their pick. As of Friday, Trump only had 5 percent of the vote in that poll. Saudi Arabia’s crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman, led Trump by 16 percent.

Many Twitter users found Trump’s tweet to be in poor taste, and mocked the president for his “fragile ego” and his “obsession” with the magazine.

It sounds like Trump said he was going to be Person of the Year but turned it down just so that everyone knows he would have been person of they year. In other words, it's just about protecting his fragile ego.

We've never had such an emotionally insecure and childish president.

He should be person of the year. He lied the most and influenced his followers to believe the lies. I think that’s a qualifier.
