Fox News Poll Finds That Barack Obama Is More Popular Than Trump In Alabama[/h]
Pass the popcorn, folks, and stay tuned. This one is likely to be quite entertaining.
Perhaps the most entertaining will be watching the gyrations of the Trumpeteers trying to tell us how flawed the poll is, how "liberals" are behind it, how their hero is as popular as ever, or perhaps how Hillary is... well, Hillary.
Trump isn't well liked or should I say viewed favorably in any region of the country. Nationwide YouGov gives him a 35% favorable vs. 58% unfavorable. Breaking it down further, Northeast 32% favorable, 58% unfavorable. Midwest 39% favorable, 56% unfavorable. South 36% favorable, 56% unfavorable and west 29% favorable, 62% unfavorable. Question 62A in the link below.

So what is surprising about that. On election day Trump had a 36% favorable vs. 62% unfavorable nationwide. Not much has changed in a years time. I didn't expect those numbers to change much. Trump began his presidency with 60% of all Americans viewing him unfavorably or in a negative light. Trump hasn't tried to expand his base one bit. He has totally ignored independents and hasn't even tried to unify the Republican Party behind him. But Trump isn't the only one in Washington to be view negatively. It seems today, everyone is.
Mike Pence 36% favorable, 46% unfavorable
Paul Ryan 23% favorable, 54% unfavorable
Mitch McConnell 13% favorable, 55% unfavorable
Nancy Pelosi 28% favorable, 48% unfavorable
Chuck Schumer 26% favorable, 37% unfavorable
Questions 62B thru F in the link above. How about political parties?
Democratic Party 38% favorable, 49% unfavorable
Republican Party 26% favorable, 62% unfavorable
Questions 63 A and B in the link above.
No love there for anyone in Washington. But the GOP numbers are in the pits. Good thing for the Republicans the midterms aren't today. If they were the Democrats would sweep into congress as the least disliked party. The Democrats sure aren't liked, but they are not as much disliked as the GOP.
What a way to choose a government, voting for candidates and a political party you hate the least.
Oh, as for Obama, if he could have run for a third term and he was running against Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, I would have voted for him. I disagreed with more than a few of his policies, but at least Obama was presidential and a very decent guy. He didn't throw temper tantrums like a five year old via twitter and there were no name calling. Disagree with any of his policies, but his parent did teach him some manners.
