How many millions will the GOP spend on more investigations of the Clinton's in an attempt to deflect from Mueller's investigation of Trump. What I see happening is that Trump or one of his underlings will fire Mueller with the help of the GOP in Congress and thus ending the Trump investigation before any more info can come out about collusion with the Russians can come out. Then they will begin another investigation with one of their cronies leading it and will "find" info leading to prosecution of the Clinton's. This will make their base happy and keep the Trump followers in the GOP fold. Of course it will all be an effort to deflect our attention from Trump and keep the GOP in control long enough to pass the tax cut for the wealthy and get rid of any vestiges of anything Obama did to help this country back on its feet after the last Bush tax cut for the wealthy ended with this country in a recession. Remember what the one GOPer said, if we don't get this tax cut passed, our donors say don't call. that is what this is all about, the rich donors.

How does it deflect from the Mueller investigation? It might deflect the media but the media isn't the one conducting the investigation. Mueller will do the job he was appointed to do regardless of what other investigations are going on.

I'm no fan of Trump, but I think the Clinton's should be investigated. The Clinton Foundation should have been closed or moved to a trust account while Hillary was serving as Sec'y of State.
The emails that went missing are a similar matter. The Clinton funding of the Russia Dossier needs review. Might collectively be labelled as backflash, don't ya' know?

Government waste, along with deficit spending, only matters when a Democrat is president, and if that president is black, each dollar counts double.

It's a non-profit and the Clinton's make $0 from the foundation. What exactly is the conflict of interest that would require it to be closed or moved to a trust account? It's not their money and they don't draw anything from it.

Please make the connection here.

Please prove anything said or done about Clinton, which pre-dates the Russian investigation by a lot, has anything to do with a Russian investigation.

I figure everyone needs a hobby and the Republican House hobby is investigating Hillary Clinton. Sure it's expensive, but it keeps them occupied and out of worse mischief.

Trump still has a long way to go on the distraction front. Until he orders a military action to cover up questionable testimony against him he's still just a JV leauge distractor

Come on now, Trump must be your idol. He is pretty much the only one in Washington who wants Clinton investigated AGAIN. Trump kept his entire business intact while President because he must be the most honest man in America and would never use his office to enrich himself like Clinton did with that horrible charity. Isn't that true?

The Clinton Foundation is alive and well. And none of the Clintons have ever drawn any salary or compensation from it. You can donate if you like. It's a good cause.

Political discussion is hopeless today because FOX News is not a real news outlet. It doesn't tell it's viewers the entire truth. The Clinton's don't earn a slary from the Clinton Foundation. It's a charity. It's fully audited. They'll never say that on FOX News. The Uranium One uranium never leaves the U.S. without strict approval. We import a lot of uranium FROM Russia. You'll never hear that on FOX News.

So, what we have is half of the voters being fed a constant stream of half-truths in a politically manipulative manner.

Now the FBI, CIA, and NSA are suddenly politically motivated entities out to get Trump. As if, it's unimaginable that Trump could actually be crooked.

You are confused,it was the trump foundation that closed immediately when he realised that people would be looking at it closely.

And Hilary has been hands off for a long time, Chelsey is running it.

Why not investigate the Trump foundation with all the ways it used the money to pay Trump's bills.? And the email matters have been investigated to death with no real findings of wrong doing and then we have all of the Trump people using private servers without a peep from the GOP about that. Do you want that also investigated. And I find it funny, when the GOP and their followers thought that the Gop had been behind the dossier, they said it was nothing but typical campaign stuff, you know looking at the opposition. But now that they found out that although the GOp started it, the Clinton campaign finished it, it is all somehow different. Now it is criminal.

I sure hope this doesn't happen.

If you believe there is a reason to investigate the possible collusion between Trump and Russia, then SURELY you also believe the same level of scrutiny should be applied to HRC and the DNC...right? Especially in light of the fact that there is actual evidence that the DNC did in fact engage both the Ukraine and Russia to find dirt on Trump for the purpose of swaying an election?

there is actual evidence that the DNC did in fact engage both the Ukraine and Russia to find dirt on Trump for the purpose of swaying an election?

Facts....

1. Republicans first hired Fusion GPS to dig up dirt on Trump

2. Fusion GPS hired a former British intelligence offider

3. Putin hates Hilllary

4. Putin and Russia did everything they could to help Trump win.

Does you deny any of these facts?

Marc E. Elias, a lawyer representing the Clinton campaign and the DNC, retained Fusion GPS, a Washington firm, to conduct the research.

After that, Fusion GPS hired dossier author Christopher Steele, a former British intelligence officer with ties to the FBI and the U.S. intelligence community, according to those people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

Elias and his law firm, Perkins Coie, retained the company in April 2016 on behalf of the Clinton campaign and the DNC. Before that agreement, Fusion GPS’s research into Trump was funded by an unknown Republican client during the GOP primary.

Does the fact that someone else engaged Fusion GPS negate the FACT that the DNC engaged? or that they relied solely on a Ukrainian company to assess their 'hack? And yeah...I'm sure Putin HATES Hillary...what with how tough a negotiator she and her husband were for those Uranium sales and sweetheart access deals. The sale was expensive enough...but the $$$ funelled through speaking arrangements and the 'foundation'? ****...that was pricey.

Speaking of foundations; I read something about Moore and a non-profit family foundation that he and family members have been being paid by. And he was not accounting for the income. That could be what bite his butt, legal wise. Unless of course it's up to the U.S. AG to proceed.

I am sorry, you are right it was the CGI.

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/jan/16/clinton-global-initiative-lays-off-22-as-donations/

It still stands. Why would donors pull their donations as soon as Hillary lost the election?

The link itself says the closing was just a continuation of something started in August (of the previous year). They don't put the year....but as it closed in April and the article mentions it started in August, unless the filing made use of a time machine...the global initiative started to wind down back when Hillary was a sure in for President.

1. Any investigation of the Clintons...or Obama, for that matter...won't affect Mueller's investigation into the Trump/Russia matter. Mueller's investigation will continue.

2. There IS a possibility that Mueller will find himself implicated in a Clinton or Obama investigation. If that happens, it won't affect any investigation into the Trump/Russia matter...it'll just affect Mueller's position as the special prosecutor. He could be removed and someone else put into place and the investigation can continue.

3. This isn't really a matter of "Trump's followers". It's a matter of justice and the rule of law. This should be of great concern to ALL Americans.

4. If you are so worried about "more millions", then you should be worried about the Mueller investigation spending millions to investigate something that has produced no usable evidence.

5. Don't worry about the tax thing...the Congressional GOP Elites have no intention of passing any tax bill.

The problem is that all of those Clinton things have been investigated before and they found nothing illegal. And you mention that Mueller might be involved with the Clinton investigation shows which side you are coming down on. Deflect, deflect, deflect, that is what your post was about. You have the right to your own opinion as do we all, but don't try to sound like you haven't already decided what you believe about the Clinton's and Obama, it just won't fly.

I'm not aware of any investigation...or results of an investigation...into Clinton, Obama, his administration, etc., in conjunction with Uranium One. I'm not aware of any investigation...or results of an investigation...into Clinton, Obama, his administration, etc., in conjunction with the DNC/Hillary dossier. I AM aware that those two issues, at least, WILL be investigated and very well could result in criminal charges.

Now...you are free to cry, "deflect, deflect, deflect" all you want. I'll just keep saying that justice needs to be served. No free passes because Obama's gone and Hillary's a loser.
