Mitt Romney is edging closer to a 2018 Senate run.

The former GOP presidential nominee is huddling with Utah’s class of GOP power brokers, contacting the state’s major political donors, and hitting the trail for candidates running in local races amid mounting speculation that the state’s longtime senator, Orrin Hatch, will retire. Romney is also raising money for House and Senate Republicans, winning him favor with GOP leaders ahead of a treacherous midterm election.

Perhaps this might be a good thing, however, Romney has been terrible running for office. Every time it seems the Republicans needed him, he has failed to deliver. I wouldn't be surprised if he ran, he would somehow find some way to lose.

Just what we need, another old failed politician who refuses to go away, getting in the way of us finding people who might possibly be able to do the job.

He accomplished very little in politics. I think he was born in Michigan and governor of Massachusetts yet he lost both states to Obama??? Talk about pathetic.

There is the fact that it is pathetic, and then there is the fact that the so-called journalist give no indication that they know that this is pathetic and you will rarely find a DP member who indicates that they know that this is pathetic so one must I think conclude that Americans are generally too ignorant to know that this is pathetic.

Which is pathetic.
 
Mitt Romney is a special type of pathetic. He reminds of of Donna Brazile, William Kristol, and Karl Rove. People who are hardcore insiders who think they know what they're talking about but are always wrong.
 
Old Mitt is everything that is wrong with the GOP "establishment".
A true RINO that is not needed in the Senate. I hope Utah has good
sense not to vote for this guy.
