A Look at Unshakable Trump Supporters

They would have had to pick a Conservative, which doesn't exist in the Democrat party.

I didn't see it as a vote for the lesser of two evils as much as a vote against the Liberal agenda.

The fact is neither candidate was like or wanted by a majority of Americans. Of course those who supported Trump didn't want or like Clinton and those who supported Clinton didn't like or want Trump. Now add that 25% of all Americans who disliked and didn't want neither one of them, you come up with 60% of all Americans who didn't want Trump and 60% who didn't want Clinton.

One in Four Americans Dislike Both Presidential Candidates

Pretty much in a nutshell. The Democrats choose their candidate four year prior to the election. Their candidate was about the only one who could have possibly lost to Trump. If I were a Democrat I would have a very hard look at how they were able to nominate a candidate that would lose to a reality TV show host. One that didn't even play a president on TV.

I think I would be even more peeved at the thought of the Democratic Party nominee being picked in a smokeless room in a meeting between Bill, Hillary and Obama prior to the 2012 election. Dear Democrats, your nomination process was just for show.

Dilly! Dilly!

Rapscallions! The lot of them!

Agreed, they wouldn't care if Vladimir Putin moved his desk into the Oval office.

A very good article on the Trump supporter mental capabilities is right here.

Yes, and libs are calm cool and collected, and the smartest person in EVERY room.

And yes, this is whataboutism. You're damn skippy it is.

Well, okay. I guess I understand now.

Not really. The correct answer is: We wouldn't have a President Trump if it weren't for Hillary. You made your bed. Stop making excuses and lie in it.

White brah here.

Used to live in a small Southern town, the kind with lifted trucks and rebel flags, the kind where you hear gunshots every weekend. Because folks are out target shooting on their property (not doing drive-bys)

There is a diff. between White people, and White trash rednecks.. I see lots of both. The people in this pic (Trump included) all resemble the white trash rednecks I seen back in my hometown.

Smoking, drinking, partying every weekend, women who cuss a lot, rebel flags everywhere, tattoos all over them, bikers, leathered up, not very well spoken, ignorant of the world's affairs, doesn't know that Africa isn't a country and doesn't realize that Egypt IS in Africa. The sort to vote for Trump on a whim. Kind of racist

(although, in their defense, most of the rednecks I know are friends w/ Mexicans and Blacks who are cool w/ the Rebel Flag. That's how.... they are. Even if that flag stands for people who would fall over dead knowing their descendants are associating w/ black people in decent and polite society)

Just want to point that out.

Not siding with either side, but there's that.

Simply put, the unshakable faith comes from mass delusion and just a lack of common sense. These are the kind of people who didn't start following politics until 2015. So. Trump could literally stand in NYC and shoot someone, his supporters would still support him not because of their love for him..

But because of their ignorance. Of him, the world and the news media in general.

Oh com'on the Republican party would not have been looking at a Tsumani wipe out in 2018, if you would have listened to reason. It has nothing to do with Hillary Clinton, you would have never voted for a Democrat anyway & just to remind you she did beat Trump by 3 million popular votes, making Trump the most illegitimate President ever to be sworn into the Oval office.

You bought into Trump's B.S.--swallowed it hook, line and sinker. You were warned over and over again about Trump and you ignored every single warning. Now you own it.

Your first mistake was making this ass clown the poster boy of the Republican party, your second mistake was not being smart enough to vote for Hillary Clinton to keep the ass clown out of the Oval Office, as explained by a long time friend and former staffer of RONALD REAGAN.

They just don't care about anything but having someone reflect their anger, it seems.

Can't stand the NFL anger some of these people have. I peesonally know several Trump supporters who are boycotting the games, and none of them have done squat for vets nor served themselves. It's bs. They aren't doing out of love for the country or the troops. They also have nothing to say about Trump attacking gold star families. These people and Trump are way more pissed off at NFL players than neo Nazis running over counter protestors.

The fact the man has any support at all is a pretty bad sign for America.

Even among Trumps opponents, his behavior and election has been normalized to a degree but what occurred was not and is not normal.

Doesn't bode well for the future of the country because if people can elect someone like HIM with a straight face... Well... They'll elect anybody

I am tired of their self victimization too. I know Trump supporters. They get whiney and act like they are being unfairly attacked, but they deserve to be called out. As you point out, Trump should be getting called out more in DC than he is. The party doesn't want to alienate the base though, so it's all about politics. I hope the country does some actual reflection, and if it does happen, it will probably only happen once Trump is gone.

I find this post to be absolutely useless.

Yeah, there's not even anything in that I can make fun of... If people are going to post stuff like that, they should at least have the common courtesy to make sure that it's something people can laugh at.

I've met a few of them myself. A few are old vets, as we have many here, but there are others. I get the idea that they hated the players and owners already (rich people of the wrong kind or something) and were ready for an excuse to have a hissy.

I voted for her rapist husband TWICE. This election was absolutely about Hillary. She's got the charisma of Pol Pot.
