So why does the GOP tax reform plan cut taxes specifically for golf courses?

Finally a policy Obama and Trump can agree on.

There's a lot of struggling golf courses in the rust belt that are being strangled by high taxes and regulation, they are just begging to expand and create more jobs if not for the high taxes.

Why can’t we just accept that the GOP, which tends to represent the better off, pursues policies that benefit the better off? No mystery here. Not that it makes them bad persons, just that their theory of government benefits their donors and constituents, much as the democrats’ benefits theirs. What a surprise! Did anyone expect that their plan — given Ryan’s Ayn Rand fixation— would collect more dough from people like Trump? Notable is that their plan eliminates the alternative minimum tax, the one levy we know Trump paid. Of course, the benefits the richer among us, the makers, will enjoy will eventually trickle down to the peasants, the takers. Fascism lite.
