In an excerpt from her new book Hacks: The Inside Story of the Break-ins and Breakdowns That Put Donald Trump in the White House, she accused Obama of caring 'deeply about his image' and using DNC funds to bankroll his 'pollster and focus groups' - even into his second term when he was unable to run again.

Brazile wrote that the 'three titanic egos' of Obama, Clinton and Wasserman Schultz had 'stripped the party to a shell for their own purposes.'
'We had three Democratic parties: The party of Barack Obama, the party of Hillary Clinton, and this weak little vestige of a party led by [Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz] that was doing a very poor job getting people who were not president elected,' Brazile wrote.

A lot of big egos in the Democratic party. A good debate would be who has a bigger ego, Hillary or Barack?

MY question is: Why such big egos for such little accomplishments? What did they do exactly?

It's absurd to hear a Trump supporter criticize anyone about their ego. We've never seen an ego like Trump.

Well lets see. Hillary helped build the various elements of the Clinton Crime Network. Has managed to be grossly incompetent while evading any legal charges. Has had several people killed to protect her empire, and gotten away with it. Hated America so much she purposely left 4 Americans to die in Benghazi, and came out of the ensuing witch hunt clean. Managed to purchase the DNC prior to her POTUS run. Raked in millions peddling her influence. Got away with using a private server for her work Emails as SOS, successfully dodging and FOI requests, and dodging any legal repercussions. And the whole time, engaged in wild lesbian sex parties with her true love Huma Abedien. Managed to help elect the most unelectable president to ever run for office. (I think I got it all?)

Barack should be proud too. He was born a muslim in Kenya, was also a citizen in indonesia, managed to forge a birth certificate and become POTUS. Passed the ACA. Pissed off conservatives so much that many stopped thinking for close to 10 years now. Actually had the teams set up and organized to go door to door in the night to take your guns, canceled last minute due to car problems.

That's quite a list of accomplishments if you ask me

I'm trying to think of a President who didn't have a huge ego. Carter, maybe? I was too young to remember how he conducted himself.

That is even more insightful than you may have thought, maggie. Consider the ones who become such big dicks that they destroy their political lives.

I'm sure we can all think of examples, even some that both sides would agree about.

He was always grounded by his religion, which he seems to honestly posses. Unlike any other president in my lifetime (back to Ike). Not always the smartest, but Carter's ego didn't run him.

I am still waiting for Trumps crack team of investigators to return from Hawaii with proof Obama was not born in the USA. I am still waiting for this proof, you obviously are not, fool on you.

You can't think that you're qualified to guide policy for the entire United States and have influence over the rest of the planet without a big ego. If your ego is one molecule less than gigantic, you're automatically going to crap your pants at the very notion of being the leader of the free world.

I can't think of a President (unless you're counting Vice Presidents in which case I'd point out Nelson Rockefeller and his brother David essentially symbolizing themselves in the WTC Towers) who put his name in giant bolded golden lettering on giant friggen phallic skyscrapers before Trump...

President Obama's ego was evident in his speaking style using "I" or 'my' etc. really excessively.

In a 40 minutes speech in 2014, CNS news counted the number of "I", "me", "myself" Obama used in a 40 minute speech - 199 times or once every 12 seconds. That is typical of his speaking style in most--not all--cases.

I don't know if that is evidence of a titanic ego though or a ploy to convince people to give him credit that he so desperately craved.

In comparison, President Trump rarely using such personal pronouns, but much more typically uses the inclusive "we", "our", "you". From the link, President Lincoln uses 272 words in the Gettysburg Address without referring to himself at all.

Please enlighten me. All of Obama's so call do anything was deleted by Trump. Obama has no legacy except failed Ocare, failed Syria WMD deal, failed Iran deal, failed North Korea, failed Libya bombing. All failures.

I don't have time to look up and post all the different things Obama did in 8 years. Of course there are failures but he also did some good. I feel like I could post some things the majority feels like was an accomplishment and you would still say no, it was a failure. Same with Hillary. Some people's partisan blinds them. Especially if all you have to say is no accomplishments at all.
